Post subject:  Safe Mode
I've had my computer working badly lately, so I'm on safe mode. Cortex Command doesn't work on safe mode though.

Is there any way to make Cortex Command work in safe mode?

By the way, this is the error I'm getting when starting CC, but it doesn't make much sense to me:

Have you tried to load up a completely fresh copy? Not sure it will work at all in safe mode. :(

Yes, a fresh install I always have for x reason, still same error.

The issue is that in safe mode CC can't initialise its sounds properly. You might want to look into other games or applications using fmod (the sound library) to see if similar issues occur.

Can't I change something on the settings.ini or some other of those configuration files to make it load without sounds or something?
