Post subject:  problems with full screen and mouse
When attempting to enter full screen, the screen will flash a few times and then come up with the following error message:
"Unable to enter fullscreen mode because: Can not set video mode!"

My second problem is that my mouse control is jerky and sometimes completely unresponsive, however the laptop's touch pad works fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried turning off any cursor acceleration under mouse controls? I was having a similar-if not the same-problem.
