Post subject:  Missing Techion mod
I can't seem to start CC without Techion.rte. Does anyone know where I can find that?

If you're playing on Steam, try to go to the game in library, right click, go to Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Cache... (You may want to back up custom mods first.. and/or anything you've done to the core files, although I'm not sure it matters.) If you use Map Pack 3, most likely it will be disabled after and you'll have to re enable it.

Techion is one of the vanilla techs, so it should be there afaik.. You may have just accidentally dragged it into another rte or something. It looks like it's looking for Techion from another mod you have though, if it's performing a lookup of the module. (What are the last couple of lines that show up on your AbortScreen.bmp?) Either way, getting Techion.rte back should fix things.

Haha yea I think it was the vanilla folder. I was cleaning up and getting rid of mods I didn't want anymore and I think I mistook Techion as a mod.

Um...I didn't know you could play CC on steam. That's pretty cool!

And so can someone copy their techion folder for me?

If you bought the game from elsewhere you might have gotten a Steam key for it in your email. Go check you email and add it to your steam account and verify the cache integrity afterwards.

That's completely ♥♥♥♥ useless advice if it wasn't installed using Steam in the first place.

Just redownload CC from wherever you got it originally.
