Post subject:  Adding AEmitters to a MOPixel through lua?

Helloes,

Is it possible to attach an AEmitter to a MOPixel through lua?

If not, will this be possible in the future?
If it is, does anyone happen to have a script which would make this happen?

You can't really attach an emitter to a MOPixel, but you can position an AEmitter over a MOPixel and make it seem like it's attached. You could also use a Lua script that spawns particles like an emitter.

I dunno what's best really. What I am looking for is an easy way of having a small glow trail for the laser weapons in unitec. :)

I'd recommend having the MOPixel scripted to spawn the particles that you need to make the trail. That way, you have more control over the spawning, and you have one less particle in the game (the emitter is no longer needed).

Plus the Lua can be set up so the particles inherit the velocity of the MOPixel, which an emitter can't do.

Unless that changed in B25, possibly thanks to my incessant whining on the matter?
