My tip is experiment as much as you can with ini first, try making some weapons, etc.

In which of the many examples? Anyway, bmp files are generally the sprites you are going to use for your mod. In the file I attached before I used the coalition sniper as a placeholder.
The coalition index has a module icon, a .bmp file, but you can delete those lines if you don't want to use a module icon. Anyway, you can create one if you want.

Oh yeah, this is the most basic things you need to know to mod basic stuff on ini. Lua is very different.

Note that what I have taught you in here are the very very basics, with this you can create simple weapons. If you want to create actors, for example, look for the tutorials there are out there, since it's too long to explain and I'm not too good at it.

Well, most programming languages have similar syntax, but not the same functions and things like that.

Learning lua is a great help since it's very easy to understand and it will help you exercise your logic thinking. If you want to program games I'd say you should learn something more powerful like C#.

is C++ the best and ive tried tutorials for things but they all use words of extreme magnitude that I dont even remotely know and say things that doesnt make sense to me: and worst of all say things like algorithem or factorial and not explain them Im in the higher tier for maths but im only year 9 (14 years of age) and I think if I dont start now ile never be able to fulfil my dream job.

Calm down. I'm 17, I know a lot of maths and wierd words, and I keep reading things that I don't understand. If I were you, I'd keep learning the basics of logic thinking and syntax, so you should just try to learn lua first since it's very easy, then you can go with something more complex like C#.

It depends in what you want to script, I generally use basic maths, nothing too complex, even on complex scripts.

Really, the tough part here is the logic.
