My friend made a suggestion to add some Brawl characters into CC. Anyone agree? It would be awesome and +1 respect to whoever makes some!

It would take a long time and lots of lua to make it work the way that you are thinking.

You make the sprites, I'll make the actors. It won't be perfect, but they'll look like Brawl characters doing Cortex things.

Oh, and Cpt. Falcon survives because Chuck Norris hasn't gotten to killing him yet.

I think it would be cool to see Peach with a gatling gun, besides we already have Snake. And we don't have to do every character, we don't need Lua, just basic actors. Although weapons would be nice. Ness's PK thunder?

If you wanted every move and you didn't want to scroll though weapons then you would need lua.

At the very least, Lucario would be okay for me. And I suck at everything about modding, so I'd be of absolutely no help.

Plagiarism of what? Putting Nintendo characters in a customizable game? Did Konami ever get ticked at you guys for making Snake? I doubt it. I've been looking through these forums for a while, and I never even saw reference to Konami. We may not need all the moves. Work on it for a little while, see if someone wants a character added, then keep on till it's not anyone's interest anymore.

Just because someone hasn't punished you doesn't make it right. It's still stealing someone else's work, even if you redraw it yourself. "It's only legal until you get caught" is a stupid mentality.

I forgot Nummy made Snake. But still, he's not dumb. He has fun making mods like AAL and Snake, let him have fun. Don't insult him because he enjoys making stupid -but cool- mods. And as for Numgun jumping off a cliff? I have common sense enough to not follow right behind. (I think...)

There is more than just that one example for why some consider him childish. Myself included, though for a while I gave him a chance. Just read his more recent posts and compare them to, say, 411570N3 or Areku.

But honestly I don't think any big company is really going to care if someone releases a mod based off of one of their games.
As long as you don't take credit for making the character or you don't make money off of it they can't really sue you anyway.
Even IF they cared you would just be some guy in a small apartment with no money, so they figure they wouldn't get much off you if they sued anyway, not to mention they don't know your name or address to summon you to court.

They might even consider it publicity.

Change his suit green and change his name to "Flaccid Worm" and the problem is solved.
