Post subject:  Need help increasing unit durability

To keep things concise: how would I go about making a Coalition Heavy as damage tolerant as, say, a Kloveska Oppressor?

At the moment, I'm trying to make a hero type actor using the Coalition soldier as a base. I have little idea what doing.

Erm, refer to the attachment to see where I'm currently at. (Don't mind the Cannon Fodder)

File comment: Latest iteration. Durable, but mortal, none-the-less. Just think of it as a spartan. Less time in the catalog buying replacements equals more time in the thick of it.

Wounds --
Down BurstDamage -- Less initial damage when wounded by a penetrating particle such as a bullet or explosion fragment
Down EmissionDamage -- Less damage taken per particle bled from this wound

Limbs/Head/Armor, Attachables --
Up JointStrengths -- More resistance to tearing off in collisions with dynamic stuff
Up GibWoundLimits -- Soak up more gunfire before breaking into chunks
Up Structural Integrity [Use a stronger material] -- More resistance to penetration by bullets and such
[GibImpulseLimit does nothing until the actor gibs, so it's just a aesthetic thing for attachables and derivatives such as limbs]
Up Mass -- In collisions, more mass for you means less harm to you. And more for him. Use this in moderation though, as it will bog down your mobility.

Actor --
Up GibImpulseLimits -- More resistance to splattering on impact
Up Structural Integrity [Use a stronger material] -- More resistance to penetration by bullets and such
Up ImpulseDamageThreshold -- More resistance to being damaged on impact
Leave health at 100, changing it looks bad and messes up some stuff.
Up Mass -- In collisions, more mass for you means less harm to you. And more for him. Use this in moderation though, as it will bog down your mobility.

This should put you on the right path toward making an overpowered actor.


Also, you should give your stuff unique PresetNames, otherwise you may find yourself referencing coalition stuff instead of you mod's stuff, when you use a name both of them go by.
