I know I'm being a jerk for saying that, but I lost a lot of my time as well. Look at it from my perspective, I didn't just lose all the files, I lost everything on my computer. To redo everything, therefore not wasting the time of the people that have helped me, would mean rewriting the entire thing. |

Woah man that's tough. I have experienced a similar fate (but it wasn't siblingly meddling, it was virus). You know Shamsy Electric Technologies? That was the rebuild of a vaguely space vikingish faction, which I got all the sprites finished when the accidentally unbackuped reinstall happened. But hey, I got over it, and resprited it from scratch. A bit of theme change later, and we have that mod. It's worth redoing, believe me. |

You shouldn't just give up after something happens, just keep trying. You should also always backup all your work onto a USB or portable harddrive to prevent anything like that from happening again. I think you should just try making smaller mods until it gets easier for you then it won't be such a hassle for you to make one. |

I actually did decide to mod again, and have been making good progress with a somewhat smaller mod. I may release it if I complete it. Thanks for the advice, I'll backup my work as well. |
