What causes this to happen? I know that i have the colors right, i took them from Grasslands.

Okay... I copied and pasted a section of my map to Grasslands, and the blob of land showed up fine, I saved my map as grassland.bmp and i got the all red thing again. could it be map size? to they have to be a certain ratio?

What program are you using and what image type are you saving it as?

Problem fixed. apparently it has something to due with file type. I resized grasslands, saved over it and it worked.
