You have to "save" not "save as.."

Hey, I tried making a new background for a scene and this happens at the bottom of the scene.

Either the BG is too small, or the map is too large. Happens to me on my neverending y-loop canyon.

The background is 640X480, Like It's meant to be.

ALso, All I really did was just change the colours of the scene template.

what about the background picture? If it is larger maybe it is messing up with the other layers

It has to do with scroll ratio.
Make it not scroll on the Y-axis.

Code:
   AddChildObject = SOPlacer
      PlacedObject = Emitter
         CopyOf = [Emittername]
      Offset = Vector
         X = [Offset]
         Y = [Offset]
      Rotation = Matrix
         AngleDegrees = [Rotate by degrees]

Tab it correctly though.
Place under bunker Module code.

How do i add terrain debris as in rocks to a certain part of the map so it's only say on a mountain or something. Also, how do i make custom materials.

To do the first you need to know how to do the second.

To make Terrain Debris only appear on a certain feature, make that out of a custom material that's identical to whatever you want it to act like, (dirt, for example), then in the TerrainDebris code, set the TargetMaterial to whatever your fake dirt is called.

I'm afraid I'm not up to speed on custom materials; I last made a scene, uh, seven builds ago.

For the background image layer question, you need to have your actual SceneLayer object set up correctly. Try tweaking those numbers until it looks better.

Grif, I was just doing something in my scene, and it happened to be what you told him to do, but it doesn't work the way you'd think it would work. When debris get put on the map they go everywhere on the map, not just on the material you specify. Currently there is no way that I know of for placing debris on only one area
