Post How to make most scenes Brainless
Ok this is simple and easy to do. Just remeber that if you do this the bots will dance in the brain room...

This is a example. Here we'll do grasslands.
1. Goto Cortex Command folder. Should be in program files.
2. Open the folder base.rte
3. Open the folder scenes
4. Open up the grasslands config file.
5. In there find anything that has this (more than 1)

PlaceMovableObject = Actor
CopyOf = Mother Brain
Position = Vector
X = 1920
Y = -999
DONT COPY AND PASTE THAT

6. Like that has, change Y = to -999 for all the mother brains in there.
7. You now have a brainless grasslands :D

Any questions please ask.

problem I had with that was that the bots then start aiming up into the sky, so I just left it.

the best way is to change X instead of Y... that will make the bots walk to left all the time.

I thought this was common knowledge... Well, good job posting it anyway, now everyone should know. I do this to all my maps, and in my opinion it makes them more fun.

OH NOEZ! It doesn't work in my new scene where The robot is supposed to be guarding the brain!

It just says FAIL and a minute or two later, the remains of a robot and a brain come crashing down.

Just Jokin, but this was a widely know trick even though nobody wrote it down.

So, to make a brainless scene you just type

PlaceMovableObject = Actor
CopyOf = Mother Brain
Position = Vector
X = 1920
Y = -999

in the code? What about the enemy's brain?

And, if this places the brain in the sky, right off screen, I played some scene like that, and drove a ship into their brain and won! :D :D :D

No. -999 puts it some millions of feet above the top of the map.

Oh okay. The map I was playing must have had it hover right over the top.

And I figured out how to specify which team a brain was on.

The best way is, to make the brain invincible.
1. Go to Cortex Command folder.
2. Go to Base.rte/actors/brains
3. Open Brains.ini
4. Search the GetsHitsFromMos = 1
5. Change 1 to 0
Now you have invincible brain, the bullets will pass through
I will wonder if somebody dont know it. It is so easy and so old.
Edit: This X and Y changes may dont work, one time, in B13 in Bigass map AI killed my brain when he was X = 0 and Y = -999
I dont know how AI did this... I was shocked

There's alot of ways of removing the brain, apparently. =P

I just blanked out the Brain.bmp in Base\Actors\Brains\
And by blanked out I mean I made the entire file the pink transparent color.

There, no brain litterally.

Couldn't you just not add a brain? Or would it get an error message?
