Oh I didn't know it was mainstream. I thought it was rather obscure, maybe I wasn't paying attention or something. But even if it is mainstream, it still is a pretty fun game. |

Cave Story and N+ are basically the mainstream indie games. Also, Cave Story is fun but overrated. |

I try to like it but I always get bored before I finish. It is a good game and a shining monument of indie games and all that, though. |

Is, in the sense that I try about once every two days. I know it's possible, but beating the core with level 2 blade, level 3 polar star, and level 3 fireball where one hit kills you is really tough when you have to waste time getting the tow rope between each and every attempt. Most bosses are easy when you know their pattern, but the core is a bit too unpredictable and fires too much stuff at you, all of which takes at least 2 hits with the polar star to destroy. And yes, it is quite fun. I came in with no expectations and quite liked it, which is how most Indie games are best approached. |

I just found this game, and I'm going for the best ending in the first playthrough. Those critters in the final cave are really giving me a hard time though. Anyways, spur is really useful because of the level drop thing when you go in. |

It's a fine game, amazing thing for a single person to do, even if he's japanese. I just am not a fan of content hidden behind obscure-metagaming-requiring-secrets. Seriously, it took three playthroughs to conciously do it right. |

I once tried to beat it but gave up after collecting dogs for someone. I didn't think it was that awfully great. |
