I have to say that the console versions of Bioshock 1/2 are probably superior than the PC version, in any case. Console controls are always better for FPS games in my experience and besides, unlike PC games, there aren't any nagging system requirements or lag and whatnot that you encounter; if it's designed for the PS3 or 360, you can bet your ass that it'll run fast and smooth.

Of course, some people just prefer computers, but whatever :P

Honestly, I never got tired of using the Drill Dash. Ramming into people like a gorilla is fun :>

Try doing that on that extra hard or whatever it's called.
Also, one more thing, I agree with you there with FPS games beign better on console, partially, because singleplayer games usually turn out great there, but you will never get the same teamwork there on mp games that you can get on pc games, that's just how it goes.
Got bioshock 1 and 2 for ps3 myself.
Tried the bs1 demo for pc, it wasn't that good really.
But yeah, games made for console and ported to pc are usually best on console.

I must say, I had a lot of fun yesterday. I started a drill specialist run on hard. Good times.

Finished the game today and got the 'good' ending (spare sojourner, stan, gil, and rescue all little sisters), so now I have to go back and get the 'wow you're an evil bastard' ending.

Go for the "Uber Mega Evil" ending. Just kill everyone you see. Frankly, that ending is kinda awesome, though eeeeevil.

Then of course, get the "normal evil" and "redemption" ones, just to be a completionist. :P

There were only 2 endings in the first one, right? I'm trying to get the evil one, so cool.

Including my daughter? :V THIS IS COUNTERPRODUCTIVE.

But frankly, I wonder how many endings there are? There are a ton of combinations I can think of as who to kill and who to spare (for instance, I could rescue all the sisters and kill all the humans or vice versa) and yet I still can't imagine that 2k planned out like a dozen endings. I'm thinking it's just 'majority rules' based on how many people you spare or kill. Maybe if you hit a middleground the dialogue might change a little, sure (like if you save two humans but kill one, Lamb probably won't say that Eleanor was "exalting your every action as gospel", since murder isn't very Jesus-like.) but I think in general the story and cutscenes would remain the same.

I also still haven't gotten the evil ending for Bioshock 1; I was like on Arcadia when my brother toot-toot'd in with Bioshock 2 and I stopped playing. Maybe sometime over the next months, as I finish 2 for the second time, I'll be able to get the evil ending for the first game.

Actually, you can't kill Ellie, she just teleports away. Not that I tried. No, I specially didn't tag her with four rocket spears at a time. :P

But, truth be told, the last two stages change quite a lot depending on which ending you choose. Specially the end of the "through her eyes" part, the evil version really me scream "no dun raep meeeee!" during the last few seconds. (Double :P )

Also, about the ending, aside from a major dialogue change, three things can happen (SPOILER ALERT!!!)

*SPOILERS:*

-One person might die, might not die, might be killed, might be left to die or almost die but be saved at the last second;

-Another person might die, kind of die, not die or be killed.

-A third person might become a kind of a saint, might set out to conquer the world or not do either of those things.

*END OF SPOILERS*

I hope I haven't been too spoilery.

lolk.

In answer to your spoilers:

*SPOILER ALERT*
I assume the two people who may or may not die are Sinclair and Sofia, and the person who may become a saint or conquistador is Eleanor. Amirite.
*END SPOILER*

I was disappointed that you had to kill Sinclair in the "really good" ending. I did my best to avoid it by using non lethal attacks (Winter Blast and Electro Bolt, mainly) and looking for the key but then I realized he was carrying it and I was like .__.

Sinclair? Nah. Try again, would you kindly?

Actually, Sinclair always dies. I even tried hipnotizing him, but he wouldn't drop the key even with that.
You can spare Mark, though. Just go back to the beggining of Fontaine Futuristics and there will be two other Sisters there, so you won't have to kill him to get the last one.

Got the mega evil ending yesterday. Ellie turned from 'survivor' to 'Stalin-Hitler-Vlad The Impaler' frighteningly quick, though I was kind of expecting it.
