I just had her manage it because the machine was running Ubuntu, and she knew how to remotely control it much better than I could on the scene. It was mainly due to my ignorance of Linux. |

I kept quiet for a long time but here's my take on events over the last few weeks... Whitty, you are slipping. When I first found this server before I even owned minecraft I loved watching this thread for world updates and information on how all of you were interacting with the server and each other. It looked like a tight group I wanted to be a member of. After I bought the game and finally got on WhittySMP it was above and beyond my expectations and it was especially fun when whitty, duh and the other admins of the time would get on and build epic things and keep griefers out. I have built at least one thing with every member of this world and had fun doing it, except over the last few weeks the server has become more of a waiting room for whitty next log in where he will run around destroying things and otherwise throwing his weight around almost daring someone to do something about it. The night of "the revolution" I actually thought things had changed, Whitty, Ragdollmaster and I had built a massive fortress. The only issue I had during that building was every part of the fortress had to be Whitty's way even though I had found the awesome location for it to be built. So Whitty, within a few hours or maybe days you will realize this "revolution wasnt just one or two people causing trouble for you, it was about 90% of your friends telling you that you have become impossible to deal with and we would rather not try anymore. So... it was fun while it lasted but I will be very surprised if you learn anything from this incident above blaming us for turning on you. Have fun on your server with out your core group. Let us know if you grow up, maybe one or two of us will come back for a visit. |

Mind if I ask why I am no longer an admin? I admit I haven't played in a while, but still. Either that or I am very bad at using the commands in the new software. |

Ie almost nobody who's really known on the forums. Meanwhile, there's a reason BentusSMP has a max capacity of 50 players. |
