Even then there are so many people running around fully unlocked so I don't really get why you would complain about a few guys with lower rank with everything unlocked.

There's nothing quite as satisfying and self-rewarding as leading a bunch of newbies in a squad to go tank hunting and objective capping.

New DLC out, aftermath.

Crossbow is awesome.

The crossbow is amazing. I love how thunky kills with it are. People seem to ragdoll hardcore when they're killed by a bolt, too. I have yet to unlock anything besides the base bow with standard bolts, but I am looking forward to getting HE bolts- kill helicopters all day, son. I will be an unstoppable Support juggernaut.

Hipfire seems way too accurate though. I call a nerf pretty soon.

And I thought BF3 tried to be atleast semi-serious.

Tbh a jury rigged crossbow is nothing compared to an automatic shotgun prototype there were only made two working prototypes of.

HE bolts are useless btw, only really works up close or if someone's sitting still.

Flight pattern's that of a drunken swallow. Goes down down down.

Whoa whoa buddy, the TAC-15 isn't a jury rigged crossbow. It is a perfectly legitimate receiver mod for the AR-15.

What shotgun are you referring to, by the way, the Pancor Jackhammer?

I didn't think I'd actually like Aftermath, but to be honest I'm enjoying it far more than anything put out so far. It really strikes a good balance between urban combat and long range combat for some reason. You wouldn't think it with the second one due to all the maps being urban, but there's some sizable distances between most of the major spots for cover. I'm also really enjoying being able to back up a squad in room to room fighting with the jeeps even though we're inside a building.

I'd have to say that so far Azadi Palace is probably my favorite map just due to the experiences I've had while playing it. There's always some serious Alamo style fighting going on around Point D. It's also generally hilarious to run down snipers trying to shoot out the palace windows by driving the van through the halls.

Yeah, I'm surprised with the maps, I love all of them. They are the first maps to truly feel urban to me, for some reason. Seine Crossing, Tehran Highway, Operation Metro, Grand Bazaar- all the fighting in these areas is either focused in wide streets, chokepoints, or tight buildings. The open-air and covered markets and alleys of the Aftermath maps feel much more organic and allow for engagement at all distances. Maybe it's just because they're all fresh and new, but I seriously love them.

No chokepoints is the key.

That makes sense. Too many matches of Grand Bazaar conquest (read: all matches of Grand Bazaar conquest) are focused on that giant alley where the B flag is. LMG sprays and snipers and rockets and oh my. Having more circular maps with spread out objectives and open areas is incredible.

Makes for a lot more natural front line.

Well, as because ive got Battlefield 3 for Christmas last year, i have to say, Single playerISbad.
Sorry but i really had to admit it, in BFBC2, you could blow the ^^^^ out of a house in 10 seconds or less. Also, there was more explosive stuff to use, while in BF3, you only have a stupid Assault Rifle/SMG/Sniper Rifle which doesnt help that much. The only explosives i saw in the Single Player were the M320, the M203 on the M418 and the Grenades.
