The top looks off center, I think you should make it center with the pillar.

I'll take replacing every single bloody block and moveing the huge ♥♥♥♥ tower slightly to the left into consideration.....

Oh and make something like a giant LOL on top of the base out of dirt. Or maybe make a scale model of your favorite armor out of different colored blocks.

just gonna clear this up. "not quite" Terraria was inspired by Minecraft.
Minecraft was inspired by Infiminer (or Infiniminer i forget).

Gotta say Terraria has much better design imo. (Better engine, more content)
If only it were 3d.

I used to play alot of Terraria, never did go for the "huge" builds mostly stuck to simpleish houses for when i needed storage.

I don't think a third dimension would have added to the game, not to mention that it gets enough flak already from the "ooh this is just minecraft but 2d". Just because it can, doesn't mean it should. 2d kept the combat simple and physics based, and kept the exploration worthwile.

Yeah. Terraria is a much better game vanilla content wise but isn't as moddable or nearly as long-lasting as Minecraft.
Though Terraria has a lot more vanity items and decorations, Minecraft is still better for building, and is much easier to expand on with mods and stuff.

I don't think you can really compare them, but okay. Either way, I'm getting excited for the sequel.

Starbound? Not really a sequel. More of a successor made by a new company composed of most of the staff that worked on Terraria.

Most of? wasnt it only two people? Redgit and Blue?

If it was those two im 90% sure itd be Redgit working on starbound, Blue got mad at the community and left which caused the whole "Terraria is now done. no more updates"

As for modability, i think thats just limited to what people know about XNA, its not as well known as java. There are plenty of Terraria mods out there.

As much as I am sure it's hilarious I really can't bring enough patience to watch an eight minute long video entirely composed of one guy whining about how better he is than everyone else at a game that he hates
Especially as he's one of the insane conspiracy theorists that many popular games attract that claim that developers pay people to spread good words about the game
