That's a really awesome idea. Maybe even force the players to stay in base for the night so they have to build fortifications and sieges. Mornings would be always surprise!

I was also thinking about weather effects.

I need some suggestions for the chat bubbles, you know the ones you press 1..9 keys.
What kind of bubbles do you need? Would like to have? Geti will draw them then.

I would like them as emotes instead of the requests that are already there, so like:
:) :grin: :( :P :x :lol: etc

I just find that if I wanted a block to be placed I would ask for it in chat instead of with an emote. I like the exclamation point and the gold block though. They are useful, but I would still use chat to say that I had found gold or that an enemy was sneaking in.
How about a little option that toggles between "Emotes" and "Notifications" ? That might work.

I also noticed a 'fog of war' option in one of the configs. How's that going? Also, what's up with the bots? They seem to go in one direction and jump a lot.

Do you have a GetSatisfaction? If you were able to (I dunno how it works) that would be great for suggestions.

New release.

Changes build 28-30:

- added kick voting (select in mainmenu [ESC], no [F11] yes [F12])
- added server kick command (kick [playername] [minutes])
- player respawns as last selected class
- sack on back is more visible
- added tent flag animation
- tent is now in front of players
- added variable descriptions in autoconfig.gm
- all doors placed vertically open when player touches
- player names forced to be unique
- fixed holes appearing after loading a map
- doors require 30 wood & 30 stone (previously 50 each)

So new glitches ahoy. Had lots of fun abusing the crap out of them today haha.

If you hold yourself in with two doors then tap on both the doors with the pick you'll go shooting through walls.

Same if you shove yourself into a one tile hold for a bit.

As the discoverer of this glitch I call it the ContRail (TM)

Also, arrows at max power can go through single tiles at the right distance away.

Well i decided to give red team a more - awesome appearance.

In conjunction to Contrary's Orc i have decided to also buff up red team with: the goblin crossbower:

The reason i made it a Handaxe was because originally i thought the poking out grey thing was a dagger for cutting trees and stuff.
Later during the spriting i found that it wasn't, however i just went with it and here's the end result. I tried to keep it to kag's style as much as possible, but the walking looks more like hes shambling.

Also as you can see when he is drawing the crossbow up, the axe is then strapped unto his back, vice/versa.

However, i will let people add this to their own versions, so here you go, save image into base>sprites

So yeah I made a tower thing.

Edit: oh hey, it got put on the devlog, neat.
That time could have been spent in better ways I'm sure, but uhh oh well.
It might still be up on the "large map" server for a while.

I suggest a forced 5 minute building truce at the beginning of a map where everyone's a builder and stuck on their side of the map. Everyone fighting [preventing any worthwhile building] while the map's still barren is no fun.
