Something that happened today, I went to the red base and started casually unloading their vault. SUDDENLY someone joined the Red team and locked me in said vault.
Boy was I mad.

Finally finished the new Red vault, and moved all gold into it. I would've made a sky-vault, but then I figured '♥♥♥♥ it' and went with this thing. I call it, 'The Federal Reserve Bank'.

God this game is addicting; damn you Geti I will never get anything done, now. I really really think this game is going to be huge. How fast do you want the user count to grow? Is it ok if I spam all my friends and forums with it?

Some things though:
Arches can dig through dirt waaay too fast. Even before the patch archers were better than knights most of the time. Whats more is Non figured out how to fire arrows with fairly high velocity at 100 RPM, though they do do less damage. I think that having archers rely on knights to siege is a nice dynamic; they still need knights for stone and stuff but in the early stages of the map archers just beast through everything, and of course there will always be caves for archers to wreck.

Knights feel like they got weaker, might be lag though. Knights can't shield down. Makes it kind of difficult to chase down archers. I know I've abused this lots. On the flipside there isn't any real counter to shields, which is kind of annoying.

Dragonxp figured out how to permanently kill trees; it could makes raids brutal if you're that sort.

The ladders are a little too good, IMO. They take only minute amounts of a quickly harvested renewable resource and you can go anywhere with them. Yesterday, I think it was (maybe the day before?) sky bridges of ladders was a huge problem, it made it super easy to do aerial raids. Even if you took it down it only took a minute to make one across the entire map again.

D: that red vault is so full!

New build, for those still wondering about playing this, should've fixed some bugs but appears to have created some as well.

@Contrary: User count growing is great! Give them a kagdev link and send them on their way, the more people we have playing the better.
We're looking into ways of fixing the issues with ladders, and I guess we'll be forced into fixing that sooner as more people pick up the game :) I'm glad you think it's got potential.

Just loaded fine in wine to test (not near windows box), so I guess try reinstalling? Maybe a mispatch ♥♥♥♥ something up? It loaded into fullscreen by default because of my tiny res so maybe try that?

Hey Geti, seeing as BG stone tiles don't seem to do anything other than make ladders cheaper, why not suggest that they make surrounding stone blocks stronger or something? That way, they can be used for a purpose other than aesthetics.

Oh, the vault? I added a basement for it, so now it has a huge storage capacity. Oh, it's fuller too.

Run it from a console and see if you get any error spam? Just making sure, you have completely wiped and tried re-installing?

I reinstalled and had a red pop-up on the top of the screen saying some menu or control settings had been restored to default.
Still didn't work.
