sure, talonflame only has 81 attack and it's not objectively that great (though having the most powerful priority move in a really decent type is nifty), it's usage overcentralizes the meta as far as I see. T-Tar really isn't a perfect counter because of U-Turn, which, although it doesn't really cause him to break a sweat, does decent damage and gives you momentum on him (with which you probably would bring in the OU ladylike Trash which needs not be named). Tyrantrum may be a hard counter, but it's not really viable in OU. It just doesn't hold up. Ampharos too isn't something you really want to use in OU unless you're making a team around it.

T-Tar and Rotom are the best two things to almost always counter talonflame. And looking at the stats, you can see how true this is. Rotom Wash has a 23% usage rating. 23% percent. I hate Rotom Wash with a passion. I hate burn status and I hate levitate and I hate water-electric type pokemon and I hate the design and the colors and I hate it. Rotom Wash is one of my least favorite pokemon in the game followed by Serene Grace Paraflinch togekiss and L1 Aron and Sneasel and speedy toxic heal sub protect gliscor.

Yet gliscor has 11%, togekiss has 5.6%, and Aron, thank the ♥♥♥♥ lord, has .08%. If you play 4000 games, you might see one L1 Aron doing that bull♥♥♥♥ with shell bell and endeavor, yet you will have to wear through nearly 1000 ♥♥♥♥ washing machines.

But we can't ban rotom wash to ubers. It's not good enough. And if we did? Talonflame wouldn't be scared of nearly anything other than stealth rocks, which are much less prevelant this gen anyways. Maybe Gen V had more power creep with CB Terrakion, but something with Gen 6 is really off. Kyurem B was banned to ubers IIRC, and although TB Terrakion did have a 83% to 2HKO Skarm after SR and lefties, I didn't see it all the time. Gallade and a normal Heracross could also 2HKO skarmory after SR and lefties with a Choice Band, but neither were OU.

I don't run any pure counters against T-Flame.
I simply let something die and then bring out my focus sash cloyster; this usually scares t-flame away and lets me get a free shell smash.

Not always that clear cut but sometimes this becomes a win condition because skill link cloyster is strong as ♥♥♥♥.

Edit: Stupid washing machine.

If you want that ditto to help breed faster, I've got it sitting in a box along with your whimsicott whenever you want it. Just PM me your friend code.

Another student at school informed me of the hidden ability of Talonflame: Gale Wings, giving flying moves higher priority. I think this would be the most ideal ability for a stealth rock / whirlwind team. I'm glad to see gen VI takes competitive play to new heights. Pun not intended.

That was quick, but then again it's from hacking.
Anyhow, i never really said anything about whimsicott's specs but im sure you put it as impish/bold nature with prankster?

If it's not too much of a hassle since they're already created to add a leftovers if possible to either of them it would be really nice. (Since obtaining multiple leftovers is very difficult in gen VI)

I should be done the talonflame soon but i'll take the ditto, and who knows? Maybe ill get a 5IV shiny talonflame

Also, Pming Friend code.

Nice try but Whirlwind is -6 Priority, so the +1 from Gale Wings would hardly matter. You can accomplish this kind of bull♥♥♥♥ by other means though.

See: Copycat Lucario or Assist Liepard.

Warning: Fails to many things such as enemy priority, Regenerators, Magic Bouncers, teams that easily clear hazards, as well as a few more things depending on what route you take.

I can't add items to hacks. Pokebank strips them before they get to XY.

Anyways I haven't checked on whimsicott for nature or ability since I just used a default template with 6IV. I'll check it out now.

EDIT: it has quirky nature and prankster.

you mean Riolu. Copycat Roar Priolu is the devil and if you use one you will get boned hard by a horse in 5 to 7 work days. Liepard is also a ♥♥♥♥, but at least not as dicky as priolu.

Whirlwind isn't really viable at all, but remains to be one of the most annoying setups ever. I believe with the increase of serious pokemon players, like Magic, people will get into a physical fit of rage over battles. Whirlwind is essentially that one black/blue deck that doesn't have any damaging spells or strong monsters, but cards that completely mess up another players setup. Good for 2v2 support in serious play, I suppose.

Daww, quirky nature doesn't give much but i'll take it if it's too much to give it one of those two other natures. (I don't want to ask for too much.)
In other news, reading week finally started so i have time to breed.

Thing is I don't own a copy of BW so I have to get my girlfriend to do the chore of collecting and transferring the hacks.

But since I've got a Trollpass lined up I can throw another Whimsicott in the line up for you. What nature did you want?
