I have lots ideas for weapons. A bow maybe (if they are old one lizards) or a crossbow (if they are new).Fish thrower be veryy cool like ds's but a reall fish throw like a piranha.A net thrower maybe,or a net thrower bomb? And maybe this :shock: big eating mouth .Or an acid sprayer. :???:

Well, instead of jetpacks, they could have wings..
Just make sure they can move in the terrain after 2 minutes of gameplay.

Guns for lizard people would probably be slug throwers, enhanced poison crossbows, or powered swords, spears and axes.

When you re-color them, try a more darker greenish color.

For a net gun you could do it like Djinn's anase robot where it shoots out an impact explosive and it blows up spawning a web that surrounds the afflicted actor. Perhaps some kind of camo skin guns would be acceptable as well as mining tools.

Dude, keep these guys blue, they look much better that way. Also judging by their looks they should rely more on high tech tactical laser weaponry rather than brutal plasma or ballistic/shell weapons.

Try giving them a bouncy laser for bunker assaults. Try not to make SMG resprites with different bullets, try something new.

Idea:
They could be based entirely on explosives.
Like 'sploding bullets, time-bomblet sprinklers, badass rocket launchers. An assault pod that busts through base walls (like the basebusters), stops, blows it's outer layer off, kills everyone and then deploys troops.
Also they could go berserk and blow themselves up when dying to take the fool with them, predator stlye...

They will stay blue. I'm just gonna do green and maybe red for some variety.

I am working on winged ones, and now that I have some ideas for weapons I will get to work on some.

For the winged lizards I think I will have a jetpack muzzle flash that looks like flapping wings. If anyone would be willing to help me sprite this than that would be great.

maybe a Flyer should have a jetpack Muzzle that looks like wings opening, and the actual jetpack is closed wings. Framecount = 1

I cant wait for green and red would be even more epic! I was working on a scene here is the background when its done you want to include it in your pack?(and I could make a activities when there is weapons and more colors)

Do jetpacks work with multiple frames like guns? I have another idea. Make the jetpack folded wings for the "off" position and open wings for the "active" position. It would be more like a glide though. When you hit the jetpack button you would jump up and slowly float down. If you hit the button repeatedly you would fly.


EDIT: Also some gun wips.

I have a plasma rifle sprite and a slug throwing rape pistol.
Pistol is done.

And I like the background. A lizard world would be a cool idea. We could do custom bunker tiles and everything.

Should lizards use drop pods or rockets/dropships?

I was thinking about an egg idea. Not as drop pods though.

My idea was to make a bunker module that is a nest. It has eggs in it that spawn naked lizards.

Later when Data adds the guns that shoot attachable I can make a lizard base that spawns naked lizards that you can add armor too :grin:

EDIT: I'm also thinking of a chameleon type one. I just need to find out how I can make him invisible. I could make a shield that is the same color as grass or bunker walls... Similar to Numgun's box.

You can make the center of gib null color, so the lizards can be founded only because of visible shapes. :)

I'm not really sure what you're saying. I don't want him to be invisible all of the time. I want him to be able to change (if that's possible) If I do the shield idea then I can switch to the shield that corresponds with the area he is in. I can make it big enough so that it covers the health bar too. That way in two player matches he really will be invisible.
