While I admit that this doesn't LOOK like a bullet sprayer, I can clearly tell from the .gif that it is. Why resort to a large number of particles to do damage? Why not a rapid fire gun shooting high mass projectiles. Or just high sharpness? It'd have a more fun gibbing effect, and not look like such an obvious ubergun with toned down particles. I mean, really, the effect off this gun has been done at least four times before. Notably with TrouserDemon's...thing, and Electroclan's Tesla Coil. Really. Throwing it on a dreadnought and making it a "laser" doesn't make it original.
