True, but I still think it would be a good touch to have a little alien ship sprite. Don't get me wrong, it's perfectly good the way it is.

Thanks, CandleJack, I didn't believe you at first, but now
Abductor can be used as a high speed suction and bombing platform.

Truly the way aliens intended. (You can download it again if you are too lazy to change a variable)

If only there was a way to make it explode bigger based on how much stuff was in it. Maybe a super high speed and mass explosion(but very short lifetime) at the center would be enough to turn it's contents into ballistic projectiles.

I'd like to see something where the first click opens the bay doors and lets people out, and the second click turns on the suction beam but it's 3 times as long as the norm for the normal drop ship.

Seems to have a problem- it can pick up doors. i was playing the tutorial mission and i was using it and it picked up some dummies and a door. When i reopened it the door and dummies came out!!
Is this intended or not?!?!

This could make for an awesome base trap if the idea was applied to a custom MAT.
Walk through a door and find yourself getting sucked up to the ceiling fans all Willy Wonka style, except you meet an untimely end.

Actually, Dropships "Select" objects.
That's why sometimes it stops picking things up,
because it can only do one at a time.

When the selected object's Y-Axis position is above
the Dropship, it gets added to the Dropship's inventory.

I doubt the Abductor sucked the door off its pin, but rather
"Glitched" its way in, through the aforementioned method.

And there's one problem with the Trap module. How would I get the Dropship's doors open?

Make it like a door, but when an ENEMY comes by, make it suck them up. I have no idea how to do that, but yeah.

it would be really hard to make a dropship do that kinda thing.

Open it manually, set it to stay?
I was thinking about this last night you see, didn't get very far though.
I thought of a couple of traps you could make using a dropship to pull enemies at high speed through an obstacle course though.
