wow....this is awsome. sprites are done very well and your innovation is epic. instant dl. i love shooting guys of of the Kannon with swords and tearing up enemy ships for target practice.

I really like the looks of this, but I haven't been able to use it!
It's not under bunker bits, or anything else!
I went through the code, and I don't know why it won't load.
It's added, it's buyable, everything seems to be there.
I think it's a problem with the index, but I don't know what!

it's under bunker modules or bits, I think, called klonekannon base or something like that. You place the base which looks like a green cylinder and it'll show after that.

I just looked again. There is dummy crate, then nothing.

Go to the klonekannon.rte, select all, copy all.
Create a new folder, call it KloneKannon.rtea, paste everything there.
Delete old folder and rename the new as KloneKannon.rte.

Seriously people, start using .rar to pack your mods.


This is really good mod. Great idea and fancy sprite.

I say we do a massive switch to .7z format. Super compression woohoo!!

It'd shrink most of the major mods to like, 2 megs. Don't know if that's healthy or not.

yeah except 7z is so innaccessable. it's the indie rock of the compression world. I'm cool with it, but think about how many people will be like 'wut does 7z??'

If you people really need smaller mods just
change all .wav's into .ogg's.

I don't know. Does winRar support 7z? if so, go ahead :)

Anyways the topic is going offrails.
I'd like to suggest a strong dreadnougth-like ACrab to fire off and defend the landing zone. Doesn't need to be so mobile.

Thanks for the ideas and feedback guys.
The next update will include: various bombs, a parachute, and a flipped cannon. (Thanks a lot Numgun)

Bomb ideas I have so far:
Heavy ball thing - Done
ClusterBomb - Done
Black hole generator - Done
Bomb the shoots fire - WIP
Aerial minefield - Not started
Parachute Bomb - Not started
ACrab bomb - Not Started

MAOR I-D-UZ PLEZ (More ideas please)

Make a bomb that spawns a teamless kamikaze actor. He can be loaded with the vanilla grenades and bomb. He would attack anybody he sees and cause general havok. Extra points for randomness and hilarity if he attacks your guys.

A fuel-air bomb would be kick ass. I'd imagine you wold just change the parachute bombs sprite, make it explode while ABOVE the ground, and make lots of flame come out. (I'd recommend copying the DarkStorm FLamethrowers Flame.)

7z supports rar, zip, etc plus it's freeware so basically if you get it you don't need winrar or winzip anymore. I've got kgb archiver and 7zip.

The new stuff is really cool, except the parachute doesn't seem to be working properly, and I don't quite understand how to load the bombs in the cannon.
