It's not very original, but i never seen it here, so i assume nobody (besides the developers themselves, maybe) made it yet.

These are the robots from my favourite picture of the introduction. I always wanted to see them ingame, so i basically resprited the robot actor and did some changes in health, price and joints strength.

The one to the left is the Inquisitor, very tough and expensive. The other is the HOS-1316 (taken from the riot shield he wields in the intro) a crappy and extremely cheap robot.

I really want to make more objects (weapons, dropships and maybe bunker modules) for this faction, but as you can see by the simplicity of these (actually it is my first mod), i suck in programming. I couldn't even make their hats as attachables (although sprites for this are included, so anyone is welcome to make changes in the INI and post them here).

PS. sorry for the bad english, i'm not a native speaker.

Thank you very much for the positive feedback. It truly encouraged me to continue working on this mod, taking into account many good suggestions i saw here. Expect updates soon! (soon as i learn some more complex coding, at least :twisted: )

Also, i'm updating the file to a version with hats as attachables (made by undertech) and the inquisitor with 100 HP.

Inquisitor is now a human soldier. He is a lot weaker than coalition against shots as he lacks the chest plate, but i guess he's a bit tougher against losing members (i can't think of many radical modifications in these aspects, suggestions?). Other than that, it's a merely cosmetic change. I'm doing the same to the HOS.

Hmmm...I'm quite confused, and how convenient that numgun was in this thread. Two things. First, do they have the rocket pistols? Second, from the opening sequence, it would appear as though this was a faction of giants. Nevertheless, these sprites are still awesome. Well done.

Woah, we have a natural spriter right here.

Nice job!

Blends in very well with the vanilla content.
the shirt thing the inquisitor wears is a long sleeve in the picture, but you have it with a short sleeve.

the legs look really scrawny, you should make them a little more thick (the calf I mean).

Very good for your first (?) time modding.

In the intro picture they do look a little larger than the person in the corner.

Nice sprites.

Changing the health from 100 is a bad thing, though. It messes with the gold value of something since the game uses health as a measure of value. Something with 80 health will be worth less when it is returned, even though 80 is its default health. Also works in reverse; something with 120 health will be worth more when returned than when it is bought, even though 120 is its default health.

If you try and flesh this out some and need help with coding, send me a PM and I'll help you. Always wanted to see someone make these.

And your English is very good.

as control said, dont change the health away from 100, edit the wounds to make them do less or more damage.
sprites are looking good. i kinda thought it was a no-no to make things from the intro but i suppose someone made whitebots.. so good job for a first attempt :)

DaTa pretty much said there's a few other factions.

brown rebels

orange dummies

green coalition

white bots (tradestar mercenaries i think)

red religous?

I'm pretty sure that's how it goes.

Someone had a mod with these guys from I think B18 (the build that first introduced the new intro), but the sprites were different and it had some other stuff with it. Great work so, maybe some weapons would be nice to go along.
