Well I think its good he used that considering he's adding onto the dummies (Obviously add some own sprites depending on the things) like make your own sprites for the Smasher and stuff but also (no offese intended) his sprites arnt that good (coding, well I havnt tested the mod yet so I cant say much bout it)

But all in all mod seems good

The crashing bug was actually fixed 10 minutes after the first release. Re-download the file and you should be OK. :)
Also, thanks for the comments and criticism. There is a lot I need to improve, but I am already working on it.
Should have a second version soon! :grin:

Very fun mod, and definately worth more time on. :) I especially like the clone gun, smasher, hovercraft, and arach. The kamakazi is pretty cool too, although I like the suicide bot from I-forget-who more... as a suggestion, when I was using the arach I was thinking, wow, it's fun diving at stuff, I wish I could blow up too! Maybe make a suicide version of that? Possibly give it a weapon that hurts it so you can set it off at will.

This is a mod that actually left me playing for a while yesterday. Good job on it. :) The big smasher bot tears away land like crazy, and sitting on enemies has never been more effective than shooting them! :P Good mod.

I actually managed to cheat the zombie mission with these guys. I left a dummie soldier (The huge pack dude) up on the edge of the rocks looking down on the control unit, blew it up, and grabs the chip as it flew towards me. I never triggered the hostiles. :wink:

Just pure crazyness, I love this mod!! :grin:
For improvements try making some better ofsets specially where the smasher holds it's guns.
And better sprites. Try pm:ing to someone who can make good sprites (no not me) for the heads and other stuff.

I really like the fact that you got the great engineer Isaac Clarke from the ever so entertaining Dead Space in this.

Any chance of making a plasma cutter to go with the mix?

I agree with, whoever said that, that they need some more junkyard feel. They do feel junkyard currently but not enough. And you don't necessary need to solely use spare parts from base.rte, making new sprites can still make em' look junkyard.

Other than that, I really like the concept.

If you really pulled off that much of the stuff me and a bunch of other people pointed out, you're gonna become good. I can sympathize with the inability to sprite. I tried to make a person and by the time I was done with it, his head looked like a poo colored Dr. Seuss ham.

EDIT: All right. I'm using it, so I'll tell you as I go.
My first problem is with the kamikaze again. While yes, it's not too hard to detonate, it's too easy. I drop him from the dropship and he explodes on contact.
The digger beacon is still annoying. The whole drone idea seems like it should be out the door. Perhaps if you had like one drone that just went down on the column it was in, it would be better and be more like a digger. I could see that being more useful than a chaotic fireworks launcher that kills too much terrain.
Shar's sniper is now a piece of crud. It can't even pierce a dummy's armor.
A few of the units get damaged too easily on contact with the ground after being dropped from a ship.
That is all for right now since you already know about the sprites.

but i cant test it on this comp, it crashes 1 minute after i start CC and the one with a Geforce 6800 GT somehow, runs smooth, and then lags, smooth, lag, smooth, lag..
oh well, i miss my laptop :(
back to topic:
-The whole stuff looks "junky" but needs mooore
-Plz make a new jetpack for the "soldier", it looks like its a friggin' bomb...
-Try making a better head for the big robot

all i can say from the pics
