After testing, I think I could rename this "Rape Mod". The spiner rifles kill you. What is the point of that? If I want to kill my actor, I'll get all lua on his ass and spawn a rocket above his head. The miniguns are ridiculously overpowered. They shoot too many bullets, bullets that are way too sharp and heavy. The Deadnought's mg has 2000 bullets in it. The sprites are, as you said, crappy.

I think the digger has potential though. Reduce the lifetime of its particles and the spread, and it should be ok.

the miniguns are under work so are the sniper rifes and i will take the 2000 bullets
down to 100 then


i have only changed the sprites,gibs,gun and the Materials so far

Stop. Now. You're going in a frenzy to correct the errors that take more then a day to correct.

Stop and WORK longer harder on everything. Always attempt and try (do!) sprite something original, then show us/ or me and have us comment. lets turn this into an exercise, coming up with a story, and figuring out the origins of the weapons... I do not mind if the supra minigun sprays that wall of bullets, but why? How? That would make me happier... And how the hell does the sniper rifle blow itself up?

The topics name also tells me that this is one of those "for myself" projects, but it got to the point where the creator found it fun (for himself) and released it. A common error for new modders, it typically ends their lives in an instant. Seen those nature shows? Baby sea turtles trying to get to the ocean? You're one of them, and you're now dodging the seagull's beak. Make it to the ocean, you've got a long way to go.

I'm going to say the Test material is something of an taboo material for us modders to use, since its practically invincible (not really depending on what you're using against it). Look at some faction mods, or rather here's an example:

Code:
AtomGroup = AtomGroup
      AutoGenerate = 1
      Material = Material
         CopyOf = Metal
         Friction = 1
         Bounce = 0
         StructuralIntegrity = 150
      Resolution = 4
      Depth = 0
   DeepCheck = 0


The StructuralIntegrity bit makes the material harder stronger, and more impervious to MOPixels/MOSParticles. But at that level its not entirely invincible. But great against the majority of basic weapons. I've modified the material so that it has high friction and no bounce...

Making your dummies out of test doesn't mean they're invincible, they're getting raped by their high weight and their low ImpulseDamageThreshold and GibImpulseLimit. Meaning if I shot a high velocity rock, it would kill them, or flying a low height above the ground than going into a free fall, they would crumple to bits.

That's like shooting high-velocity pebbles at a stationary glass cup won't damage it, but if I drop the cup a centimeter off a surface or smash a rock on it, it will break. Its not very tactical when I have a lot of those large rocks.

Lets just let this thing die (for now) and have you rework and ATTEMPT (at least) to sprite everything, spend time, I DO NOT want to see anything after a few minutes of editing posted here right now. There's got to be something in your head that envisioned a gun that shoots these things. Draw what you envisioned, then sprite the thing.
