Andrew: "For this one, it'll take about 2000 marks for a full refill of hydrogen, up to 8000 for helium. Our rentals are pre-loaded with helium, and you shouldn't have to worry about losing any unless if there's a breach. Gas prices are about 5 marks a liter right now."

"Hm. How far can we go per liter? Don't want to run out of fuel midway through. Also, we'd be moving it by train before the first flight, do you have any that are not filled?"

Andrew: "This one can go about 2-3 kilometers a liter, depending on wind conditions. 500 liter tank gives you a range of about a thousand to twelve hundred kilometers."

Bezel does not seem too happy about the numbers.

Andrew: "We have a few unfilled ones, yes. Tank and pump rental would be another 50 marks a month."

You step away with Bezel.

Bezel: "Unfortunately I'm not an aeronautical engineer, but I could improve the fuel efficiency by making parts lighter. We probably won't have enough fuel for a return trip, though."

Eh, we'll be renting the blimp either way, just depends on whether or not we use it. Should rent the tank too anyway for cover and/or research. I don't think we need to hold off.
Or we can do that w/e.

Andrew: "No problem! Come back whenever you're ready."

You and Bezel leave the office, quickly getting directions and heading towards the southern end of the city.

The military base is easy to find - a large collection of buildings with parking lots full of dark green colored vehicles, all surrounded by a barbed-wire-topped fence.

A guard sits in a booth, and after inquiring him about witch cores, you're directed to large, nearby warehouse, also surrounded by a barbed wire fence.

After chatting with the guard in front of this one you're let in, walking through the doors of the warehouse and finding yourselves in a makeshift waiting room of sorts. The walls are unpainted plywood, chairs are wood, and a wooden door on the far side.

A rope hangs from the ceiling by the far door, with a sign on the wall saying "Pull to Ring".

You do just that, pulling the rope and ringing an unseen bell, and a few seconds later the door quickly opens, revealing a brunette in a labcoat, who looks like she needs a few extra hours of sleep.

Brunette: "Is there another- Oh.

Who are you?"
