Man: "Here, I can get the door for you."

You step aside and he pulls out his card, pressing it on the door above knob. It unlocks with a satisfying mechanical click, and he opens it up and motions for you go through, a sheepish smile on his face.

Man: "After you."

At least they're big enough that they're not intimately familiar with everyone around them.

Taking the lead, you walk down the stairs and the man follows, the door closing afterward.

Once you reach the bottom, you find yourself at a three-way intersection of hallways.

[Quickly take a random one so it looks like you know where you're going]
[Stand there, looking lost]

We should ask for something that’s likely to exist, but not likely to be a super large area that everyone would know about.

“Ah - Sorry to ask more of you, but could you tell me how to get to the library from here? I almost never use this entrance...”

Man: "Ah, I can show you the way!"

Instead of telling you, he seems intent on leading you to the place itself. Annoying, but you have no choice other than to follow as he walks down the halls.

Man: "I'm Sam, by the way."

Hhhhhhh

Maybe you should just run.

Sam: "No problem.

Are you new here? I don't think I've seen you around before."

Sam: "Heheh, yup! It took me a while to figure out where everything is, and there're still a few rooms that I'm quite sure how to find.

Ah, here we are."

The two of you stop at the beginning of another hallway, this one with many doors on both sides, each one numbered.

Sam: "You know your way around from here, right?"

Sam: "See you around!"

Walking down the hall of dorms, you take a left at the T bend and find a women's bathroom nearby, quickly heading inside and locking yourself in a stall.

Okay. Lean against something so I don't fall off while Observing. Then.
Search around for a way down to the next level. We need to scout a path properly, but we can do that once we're not on a people level.
