As you pass through the doorway, you see that the enemies weren't so lucky. Ugh, blood everywhere.

You head forward carefully, shields better illuminating the area in front of you. You see nothing all the way up to the corner, and decide not to go around it and risk running into something alone. Satisfied, you head back towards the elevator, noting a maintenance door on your right as you head back.

You shrug off being shot at, and turn around to face the elevator.
Hmm. You're not sure if all of you guys can fit in this thing at once. Well, 2 or 3 trips isn't that bad. You hit the Up button, and wait.
Nothing happens.
You hit it again, and wait.
...
Still nothing. Hmm. The button isn't lighting up when you hit it for some reaso- Oh!
Wait, that was a big blast door before, when Commander Lovegale got cut off from the group! Like, a fire door! If the fire alarm went off, then power was probably cut! That would explain all the emergency lights too.

Tokochiro (John Kosloswa) [10]:
Amazigh goes straight, so you decide to check out the passage to the right. You walk down the hallway, noticing it becomes very nice and civillian compared to the relatively clinical passage you were in before. Artwork on the walls, a couple benches and potted plants, and oh hello, what's this?
A ways down the hallway, on your left, you see several large glass windows, with desks and what seems like a secretary station directly behind the windows. Several pamphlets and forms are on a small shelf in front of the window.
This seems like a visitor's station. Why they would have such a thing in a Research and Development facility is beyond you though.

It's not working. I think it's related to the fire alarm that went off earlier.

Works for you. You wait behind Sargon, who for some reason is taking a second to leave. Wait, there he goes. You walk with him north up the corridor a bit, then west into another maintenance tunnel. You enter into a very large industrial looking room. There are rows of large machines attached to huge cables, pipes, and vent shafts leading mostly up to the ceiling, with several control booths higher up, connected by catwalks and with ladders leading up around the edge of the room.
Wait.
"...You're not Sargon are you."
Nope, James.
"Oh dammit."

You bring up the map for a moment, verify your location, and head towards Power Generation. You're not sure if that's where you can turn off the alarm, but it's definitely where you can turn the power back on. And there's probably a manual override for the fire alarm anyway. You notice that Vlad is tagging along, and are glad for the extra hands. You make it to Facility Management with no problem, and find yourself in a long, tall concrete walled room, filled with all kinds of big industrial looking machinery. This is probably where all the heating and cooling, air circulation, stuff like that happens. And right next door is Power Generation.
...You're not Sargon are you.
"Nope, James."
Oh dammit.

Hrmph. It wasn't so bad before when you were going slowly down that hallway, but moving faster like this is kinda inconvenient. You can't bend your broken leg, so you're stuck sort of hobbling. Well, you should be fine as long as you don't need to sprint anywhere.
