Foa does...something, and the entire robot flies up into the air going backwards. Definitely didn't jump, that's for sure. Either way, you've got your opening. You jump into the air after the robot, and dump all the energy in Akonis into one frighteningly powerful, laser-powered slash. It hits the robot dead in the back, and melts through most of its armor, straight to the interior. It falls down to the floor without any further movement, hitting the floor on its head and crumpling inward.
Well, that takes care of them!

You pull the trigger, the cannon goes off, and the robot goes flying into the air. You've done your part.

Barnox [2]: You look around for Cryolight, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Then, finally, you find it by the huge hole in the wall from the LOIC. Or what's left of it.
It seems that BlueMetal is still vulnerable to streams of highly energized ions. There's nothing left but a still warm to the touch rod of metal that was once the handle. You stare at it sadly for a moment, then take it with you as you run back towards the others.

Game Events: Everyone in the Blue group is now heading down the hallway towards the Robot group. Those who need it, primarily Blue and Fiona, are being helped along by those who are fine.
"Hey Fiona, what the hell happened to our powers? And why can't we gain powers now?"
She looks at something interesting on the wall for a moment, then sheepishly turns back to you.
"That's why it was a last resort... OverWrite essentially destroys the mental conditioning that allowed you to use the Archipelago, and replaces it with new powers for as long as the OverWrite lasts. It doesn't take as much energy as ReWriting, but only because it's a blunt instrument compared to ReWrite's pinpoint precision. Sorry, but there's nothing I can do."
The tension in the silence from this news is thick enough to cut with a knife.


"Yes! Robots finally defeated! Nice job Foa, Ben! Now we just need to go finish this with Goodpants!"
MLC triumphantly embeds Akonis in the last robot's hull where it lies in the middle of the room. He then surveys the damage. A few craters dotting the area, BioBen is pretty messed up, but no deaths, and the robots are gone. All in all, a good victory. MLC looks down at the robot that he's sitting on at the moment, the one he just destroyed. It seems to be pooling hydraulic oil on the floor. Well, it's definitely dead, so what does it... Hmm?
MLC notices that something red is leaking out as well, and mingling with the oil. He then gets a bad feeling in his stomach, and looks a bit closer at the robot, particularly at the hole where he slashed it open. He puts his face up close to it, peers inside, and...
"Oh god."
