Huh.
Well that's a thing.
Might roll sometime soon-ish. I've got a lot of plans and changes to make.

"Soon-ish", he lied.
DRUMROLL

CaveCricket48 (Raphael) [2]:
You try again with the earth manipulation, this time trying for a dome. It fails again, as a few small ridges of dirt and stone rise out of the ice around you in a circle. Well, it shouldn't have failed. You had a solid grip on the earth, and it responded to your power, but it looks like the ice is too thick here to draw enough earth up.
The howls are getting closer, and you can make out multiple different howls echoing over the snow and ice. Hrm.

Character:

Ociamarru (Vadim Ivanov) [1]:
"Nevermind..."
You form a Psionic hammer, and thrust it forward with all the force of a Hammer Blow. It hits the window, then... passes through it? And suddenly, on the other side of the window, it hits the ground and the ground bursts into a blast of snow. The other people with Theron all shout in surprise, and you realize it's a good idea to not do that again.

Character:

Emogotsaone (Jamal) [6]:
You draw your rifle and zoom in on the approaching bodies.
Oh.
Oh dear. That's... huh. Well, it looks like an angry, horned gorilla you suppose. 3 of them actually. Heading this way, quickly. You fire off a shot, quickly accounting for drop and waiting for a pause in the wind. The bullet flies true, hitting one of the things at the front of the group. It roars loudly, but doesn't stumble or slow from the shot even a little.
Ok, THAT'S a bad sign.

Character:

Izen (Theron) [8]:
The group keeps travelling east-northeast, now in silence, until they're a good distance away from the snow's edge.
"This should be far enough."
Everyone relaxes a bit, and the pace of walking slows down immediately. You give a questioning look, and Sandra answers.
"Bastards hate going outside the snow. Unless they're actively chasing prey in combat, or REALLY pissed, they won't go far past the edge. We're about twice as far as their 'limit', so we should be good. Hey, Max. What we gonna do now? Can't stay at the outpost right now."
"Mmm. Let's head back to camp I guess. Valentina needs to do something about all these damn things!"

Character:

CrazyMLC (Maria Crazer) [8]:
"C'mon, let's take this guy to Valentina."
"Oh come on Maria, it's not that important."
"Rose, he has enough military hardware to shoot up half the camp, it is that important."
"Guh, fine. You take him, I'm hungry."

She turns away and heads to the food hut, while you make a face at her behind her back.
"Hey, smiley. Little help with him?"
A person sitting nearby on a log around the big firepit in the center of the camp looks over, sighs, and gets up to help. With his assistance, you carry the prisoner over to Valentina's tent. The two guards stop you at the door.
"Maria. Why do you need to see Valentina?"

Character:

JJA79 (Rose Fors) [5]:
"C'mon, let's take this guy to Valentina."
"Oh come on Maria, it's not that important."
"Rose, he has enough military hardware to shoot up half the camp, it is that important."
"Guh, fine. You take him, I'm hungry."

You ditch Maria and head to the food tent, intending to grab a snack. You idly think something about coordinates, but don't know how it applies here. Maybe camp would be 0,0 on a map, you guess?
Whatever. You enter the tent, and look around. Off to the left are boxes of canned and dry foods, to be used sparingly. On the right are the fresher stuff and the leftovers. Salted or smoked meats and fish, a couple large pots of (cold) stew, along with some day old biscuits. You grab a hunk of venison and a biscuit, rip the biscuit open, and make a small sandwich. Chilly, but filling.

Character:

Game Events:

Raphael and Jamal are at "C,7".
Theron is in "E,7".
Maria, Vadim, and Rose are at "?,?".

> Explain the situation.

"Rose and I found this man outside of the camp."

Gesture towards the man.
"He had more than enough military grade weaponry to threaten all of our lives. We're lucky we found him trapped beneath an animal carcass."
Show them the bag of military hardware.
"This matter cannot go without notice, as he may wake up at any moment and is unsafe. He seemed to possess some kind of incredible strength - and seemed to have some sort of mission. I do not know for sure if he is friend or foe, but we must either question him, kill him, or send him on his way in a safe manner. I believe all of the above would require Valentina's approval, and I trust her judgement."
"In short, this matter requires Valentina's attention."

Oh man Izen you are so screwed dude.

CaveCricket48 (Raphael) [2]:
You try AGAIN with the Chakra, to form a wall of ice this time.
Complete and utter failure. You're starting to think your powers are broken.
As you do, the beasts finally arrive within range of you, and the 3 split up. One slows down and paces a bit in front of you, while the other two flank to the sides, slowed from a full on gallop to a careful pace. The three of them glare at you and Jamal, snorting angrily and pawing the ground occasionally.

Character:

Ociamarru (Vadim Ivanov) [9]:
Well... you don't really have to act. You never regained consciousness. You think this might be what Theron is seeing, actually. Probably because of the Mind Meld. You can affect things around him with your powers, that's good to know.
Then suddenly, the window goes black, and a little Theron ghost looking guy pops into the void next to you.
"♥♥♥♥."

Character:

Emogotsaone (Jamal) [2]:
You fire twice more, but the beasts are weaving back and forth now. It may not have slowed them down any, but they figured out that bullets are bad, and their dodging makes both shots miss. And before you know it, the three beasts are up close to the two of you.

Character:

Izen (Theron) [1]:
Despite the sudden explosion of snow from what you think looked like a Psionic hammer, the group continues onward.
"Who's Valentina again? I get names confused."
Eric ahead of you stops and turns around, looking confused.
"Are you okay?"
Suddenly, you feel a sharp crack on the back of your head, and fall forward from the sharp blow Maxwell dealt you. Your vision gets blurry, and you can barely make out Sandra shouting, then Maxwell speaking before you black out.
"No way in hell anyone would forget Valentina."

You pop into a dark space, with a semi-transparent version of Vadim floating in front of you.
"♥♥♥♥."

Character:

CrazyMLC (Maria Crazer) [10]:
"Rose and I found this man outside of the camp, to the north. He had more than enough military grade weaponry to take on everyone here. We're lucky we found him trapped beneath an animal carcass."
You show the guard the lootbag, and his eyes widen in surprise, then he nods at you.
"Leave that out here. You're clear to enter."
You drop the bag next to the guard, gently so that nothing goes off accidentally, and enter the tent with your prisoner. The other person helping to carry him leaves after you set him on the ground in the middle of the tent.

Inside, the tent is dimly lit by shaded windows and the tiny, gentle glow of several incense sticks. A wispy haze of smoke drifts around the tent, driven into curious shapes and patterns by the latent psychic energy swirling around the confined space. Even just standing here makes your skin tingle as you feel the power kept in the small area. The source of that power, Valentina, sits on a large improvised "throne" at the far end of the tent, made of well cushioned scrap metal welded and pounded together.
Valentina herself is truly a sight. A very slim woman, almost worryingly so, sits on the throne, eyes closed. Her face, despite having many signs of age and worry, forms a picture of serenity. Her face and figure are at extreme odds; her body places her in her mid twenties, while her face could easily belong to someone 70 years old. Extremely long silvery white hair billows out around her, falling to the floor and easily covering half her throne. Despite her fantastical appearance, she wears a simple green tanktop and grey sweatpants that look a size too large.
You stand there for a moment, bewitched by her appearance and the energy of the tent, before a small spark of electricity somehow zaps from you to a nearby smoke wisp. It dances across the smoke drifting through the tent, making its way back to Valentina, then connects onto her hand.
A moment after it connects, she stirs, opening her eyes and smiling wearily at you.
"Yes?"

Character:

JJA79 (Rose Fors) [5]:
You spin a nearby soup can on its edge, making it tip back and forth from landing on its side to its bottom repeatedly, until your concentration is broken by a sudden shock of static from the can to your finger. You shudder as a strange electric feeling passes up your spine.
"Heh. Valentina must be awake."

Character:

Game Events:

Raphael and Jamal are at "C,7".
Theron is in "E,7".
Maria, Vadim, and Rose are at "?,?".
