Post Infinity: An Open-World RtD Adventure
Infinity. Stretching on and on forever.

So much to see. So much to do. So much to alter…
Change, destroy, rearrange.
The future is yours. Quite literally, in this case.
Do what you want. Whatever you want. Whenever you want.
Delve into the depths of time and space. Solve intergalactic crises. Uncover plots dating back to the beginning of the universe.
Can you find the meaning in it all? Or will you content yourself with earthly power?
You don’t have eternity, but you do have infinity.

So what is Infinity?

How do I join?

A few rules and restrictions.

I will vouch herein for BearsofInsanity's competence in RTD operations, dedication, and ability to forge a creative plotline. Some of you veterans around here might be scared off by the mere prospect of time travel, but I urge you to sign the ♥♥♥♥ up anyway.

Having worked with him previously and met him IRL, I can say Bears is a pretty cool dude and that he's got the potential to contribute a lot in this subforum.

Post Re: Infinity: An Open-World RtD Adventure
Name: James Sander
Year of origin: 1905
Planet of origin: Earth
Physical description: A tall, handsome, bearded man with brown hair and eyes. His stubbly beard extends from his short hair. His attire comprises of tall boots, jean slacks, a sturdy leather belt a hard-worn white shirt with red suspenders, a leather vest and ammunition belt, a thin, slightly ripped red poncho, and a wide brimmed, dark reddish-brown hat. Essentially, a cowboy in his prime, out of his time.
Mental description: James Sander is a complex man. Though he is a master with a gun, he avoids conflict despite his rugged appearance. A man of honor and pride, but also a hint of control, he will only fight if he needs to or if the other party insists. (In the case of a duel, for instance.) Or, of course, if he is angry, which is not as unoften ad you might think.. Not overly social, or socially outcast either, he is a dignified and recognizable character, but he keeps to himself, typically only talking to those that talk to him or about him. Respected amongst his townsfolk, who, like he, are residents one of the very few "cowboy" towns left. He spends much of his time in the saloon, as any self respecting vigilante does. He is thought of as an ominous figure by his fellow townspeople, and very few people know much about him. He is often seemingly too muddled in his own issues to pay attention to others and will space out while by himself.
Combat role: Badass Cowboy
Weapons: Revolvers, rifles, and knives.
Active abilities: Steady aim: Able to not only shoot quite accurately, but also very quickly in a bullet time fashion.
Passive abilities: 25% discount on weapon slots.
Inventory: (0/10)

Edited.

Sorry, I forgot to say: only two weapons. I will give you the exact weapons when you enter the game.

Given your retro time, I have decided to let you start with three weapons. Should you decide you want more, you can buy them with ability points. If you want, you can replace your current passive ability with a 25% discount on all weapon slots.

Your active should be an useable power. For example, you could turn this power into, say, bullet time, taking two shots instead of one once per battle. Or maybe a sure shot ability, always hitting.

of course I'm signing up!

name: Thyr "the minotaur" Solyph
year of origin: 2314
planet of origin: Talos IX
physical description:
As his nickname suggests he resembles the minotaurs of Greek mythology, tall and beast like with two horns growing from the side off their heads. Although not spectacularly large or muscular for his kind, being just over two meters tall and weighing a meager 150 kilograms. He dresses in casual business wear or a brown leather coat.
mental description:
Talosians are usually known as primitive brutes with a tendency to go berserk at the slightest provocation. This is were Thyr makes up for his rather unimpressive size, with intellect and cunning. Using his for human standards impressive body and tact to intimidate or lie his way out of any situation he quickly established himself as an excellent hired gun.
combat role: Brute
weapons: big bore shotgun, axe
active ability: Execute, horribly murders an enemy, instantly lowering the morale of those around.
passive ability: intimidating figure, +1 to"political interaction".

Edited. The active ability is supposed to be a usable thing, and it actually is supposed to be bullet time, but I didn't specify that I guess. Kind of like dead eye or vats from RDR/Fallout respectively.

Foa, can you please explain your weapon choices?

(On a side note, you misspelled feet.)

Chain and a Bayonet, in General.
A Bayonet is more or less a Knife you attach to things: Guns/Sticks/Probably not Chains.
A Chain is used in multiple kinds of things: Chain Whips [needs handle, maybe a small weight]; Meteor [You know that Asian Chick from Kill Bill, the Metal Ball on the end of a Chain]; Rope Dart [A reasonably pointy thing on the end of a Chain]

The chain in mind is too long to make any reasonable form of flail, mace, or garrote. [The Garrote is questionable considering length]
Grappling hooks are silly, and Kusira Gamas be damned.

Also, it isn't suppose to be feet, it's feat.
A prerequisite of dynamic weapons is some form of dexterity.

Anyways, you have guns, lasers, and straight on utility; I'm going to do what I did in RTD Blue, and hopefully not screw up like I did, THAT time.

Blue, and Fionna, your asses are MINE

A note: If I do not object to your character sheet, that means that I approve.
