Frankly that doesn't make any sense. Why would an under construction area be blocked off and a dead end?

"Maybe we should play dead?"

"maybe we should just, you know, go to another time."
leaving this decision to benford, if we don't switch times just go on a killing spree.

We can switch times? What sort of RtD am I in?

"What kind of horrible builder puts walls in front of places where they're still building? I guess time jumping would be useful, but whereto? I spose it doesn't matter."

Leave the choosing of the time jumping to Thyr

In addition, each character has the ability to time travel.

I think we do.

Travel back in time to 1941.

it was a bit of a joke. I thought it would be some big ordeal to travel, like going through a star gate.

I mean, it's time travel.

1941 seems like as good a time as any, if not a bit dangerous.

Exactly, and that danger will probably be an advantage if anybody chases us back there.

A little discourse on when you can time travel:

First, you must have a clear date and location in mind. Temporal coordinates are good for this.

Second, you must not be in active combat. It takes severe mental concentration to initiate time travel, and that is nearly impossible to achieve in the heat of a battle.

You can take skills to alleviate the second and escape during battle. You will have to take three focus skills upon leveling, which improve skill at searching (level 1), using the same weapon multiple times (level 2), and then gives you the escape during battle function.

we have time to do that.

how about Saturday, 7th September, 1940. Trafaglar Square near the fountain. 00:00.

Just some random time.

Hm.

random time and location.

Would non's idea work or are we already on the heat of battle?

The "heat of battle" means bullets flying and swords slashing. You may travel.

(This was the solution I was talking about earlier.)

Do I have a bayonet?

If so, Fix the bayonet to the end of the rifle for stabby time.

If not, Get ready for blasting.

I don't mean that. In WWI, pretty much every soldier had a bayonet. They'd be fixed to the end of the rifle for when you go over the top to give an edge in the melee that is storming an enemy trench.
