"En garde, or something like that. Pardon my French."

SomewhatAthletic: ”Don’t surrender so soon on me.”
Male, Eyes: Brown, Hair:Light Brown, Skin: Light, Body: Fit, Height: Average

The two of you have a semi-serious marker duel, and with the markers providing little parrying ability, the two of you acquire a collection of washable marker marks.

Ms. Daeli: ”Alright, now bandage each other! Skunk hair, you start bandaging first, then tardy pants can practice bandaging next.”
Female, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Long/Blonde, Skin: Light, Body: Average, Height: Average

The others seem to have stopped drawing.

Ms. Konai: ”Okay, hold up your drawings!”
Female, Eyes: Amber, Hair: Black, Skin: Light, Body: Average, Height: Average

Rana and Charlotte hold up their sketchbooks.

Crap, you have to show yours. Maybe you can draw another one really quickly.

Hmm, you see. Footwork, shield positioning, basics of swinging a sword. Your hungry brain absorbs the knowledge like a sponge, and does its best to not drip all over the place and make a mess.

Actually practicing these things might help too, though you’d need to acquire some training buddies and fake weapons.

"Uh.. the Cello maybe?"

Mr. Yonsen: ”Very good choice! Here, you can use this one over here -”
Male, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Dirty Blonde, Skin: Fair, Body: Chubby, Height: Tall

He brings a hard-body cello case to you, and you open it up to find a cello inside, along with two bows, some rosin, spare strings, a spare bridge, and an electronic tuner.

The teacher then sets a music stand in front of you and places a music book on it.

Mr. Yonsen: ”Here, you can start practicing with the basics. I’ll be right here if you need anything, not that I can help with the cello more than the book can, Haha!”
Male, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Dirty Blonde, Skin: Fair, Body: Chubby, Height: Tall

The other kid leaves you alone in the classroom, so you head over to the office.

It looks like there are two people in the office, each seated at a desk. Conveniently, they have name plates on them.

One person, a young woman, is Counselor Linna Zeigel
Female, Eyes: Amber, Hair:Black, Skin: Light, Body: Lean, Height: Average

And the other is Principal Montgomery Montgomery
Male, Eyes: Grey, Hair: Balding Grey, Skin: Fair, Body: Thin, Height: Short

Counselor Zeigel: ”Do you need something?”
Female, Eyes: Amber, Hair:Black, Skin: Light, Body: Lean, Height: Average

Counselor Zeigel: "Ah.

Um, if you'd like, you can opt into Independent Study for your class. You can use the library and computers for educational material."

You open the book, and... It's in English?

Mr. Yonsen: "Haha! I found PDFs of the books online and reprinted all of them! No French books in here!"
Male, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Dirty Blonde, Skin: Fair, Body: Chubby, Height: Tall

Well, that works out. You start on the first few pages of your book - posture, which strings are what notes, bowing, that sorta thing.

Doesn't seem too hard so far, you think you even got some Skills!

You use the bandages that were given to you to wrap TardyPants’s “wounds,” pretending some are soaking through the bandages and you respond by layering more on while applying and maintaining pressure. You elevate his arms above his heart as well.

Ms. Daeli: ”Okay, now switch!”
Female, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Long/Blonde, Skin: Light, Body: Average, Height: Average

The roles are swapped, and TardyPants more or less does the same thing you did - bandage wounds, apply pressure, don’t remove them if the “blood” soaks through, elevate limbs above the heart.

Ms. Daeli: ”Alright. Next, broken bones or CPR?”
Female, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Long/Blonde, Skin: Light, Body: Average, Height: Average

You finish up your second dog drawing in a jiffy and hold up your sketchbook.

Ms. Konai: ”I seeee. Okay! We’ll start off with getting you guys to draw using proportional marks and sketching.”
Female, Eyes: Amber, Hair: Black, Skin: Light, Body: Average, Height: Average

She grabs a piece of chalk and starts doing a crude drawing on the board, first of just a few circles.

Ms. Konai: ”So, instead of trying to draw the shape of whatever immediately, I’m starting with some blobby circles to mark how big some parts are and where they are, to help with proportions. Then I slowly do the same with smaller parts, putting smaller proportional marks that are just rough lines and circles, and then I go into more details.”
Female, Eyes: Amber, Hair: Black, Skin: Light, Body: Average, Height: Average

Ms. Konai: ”Think of it like building a guide for your drawing, just marking where things should be and how big they should be. It’s okay if the guidelines are messy, they’re temporary. Okay! Let’s practice just proportional drawings! Only rough blobs and rough lines, and your topic is… People! Draw three rough proportional drawings of people, no details.”
Female, Eyes: Amber, Hair: Black, Skin: Light, Body: Average, Height: Average

Not sure if there’s a fencing club in the school, gonna have to make a mental note to ask later.

You poke around the computer’s files for any documents related to the school, but there doesn’t appear to be much of anything other than the system’s default files.

Wait, there seems to be one thing.

thing.txt

Double-clicking the file, it opens up in Notepad.

Code:
Club building, cafeteria, windowless corner, under the floorboard
It’s all yours.

You keep up your Cello practice, making crude notes that resemble a major scale.

Alright, so you can sorta play the C major scale on a Cello. Turning to the next page, you see two songs - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and Ode to Joy. Guess you’ll be playing those.

While you fiddle to a starry night, you see the teacher moving some instruments around. One of the items catches your eye - a white, ornate wand of some sort. The item is quickly slipped into a long leather sheath and out of your sight.

"Oh, alright. Thanks."

You walk around the school a bit, not finding any room resembling a library. Guess it’s on the third floor?

Heading into a stairwell, you ascend and find that the library is right above the cafeteria. There are several rows of computer desks, and a few other students are here too, with Maria being one of them.

Plopping yourself in front of a computer desk, you look up some basics of classical mechanics.

Newton’s Laws of Motion
First law: When viewed in an inertial reference frame, an object either remains at rest or continues to move at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by a force.

Second law: The vector sum of the forces F on an object is equal to the mass m of that object multiplied by the acceleration vector a of the object: F = ma.

Third law: When one body exerts a force on a second body, the second body simultaneously exerts a force equal in magnitude and opposite in direction on the first body.

Seems pretty straight forward.
