Or is it like a fiction appreciation club? Or some kind of esoteric society like the Masons?"

Rana Salient: "Maria said that it started as a role-playing and fiction discussion club, but then they started doing real predictions to determine when the Dates would occur. She's the one that scared you, right Langely? Long brown hair?"
Female, Eyes: Pink, Hair: Light Pink, Skin: Light, Body: Lean, Height: Short

You leaf through your single book to get an idea on what the course is going to be about.

Descriptive writing, how to emphasize certain things, making sure to not go overboard, avoiding "Thesaurus Syndrome."

You head in, taking a seat in the back corner away from the other students.

A few other students start entering the room as well, a few grabbing books, a few looking at the desk of books wondering if they should grab it, the teacher looking back at them nodding.

LITERATURE: What it mean?
"What the hell did she mean, 'wouldn't make it'? That's absurd. This is a school, not a death camp. Even if your homework makes you feel like killing yourself out of boredom."

You grudgingly take a book and get back to your seat. Taking out your red notebook, you write “Literature” on the cover. On the first page, you write the date, teacher’s name, and name of the book.

Check inventory!

Still a couple minutes left until class starts. A few more students are still coming in. A few of them, particularly the group in the front left corner, are busy socializing.

Opening to the first page of your red notebook, you write your bold question.

“Literature: What it mean?”

Check inventory!

You grab a book from the pile and take the closest seat, which is the one in the center of the front row.

The three kids to your left are talking about something about leather jackets and death camps. Weirdos.

The bell rings over the intercom, four medium electronic tones signaling that students should begin heading to their first block classes. Better get a move on.

Good for them, faffing about. I'd prefer to use my time somewhere else. Somewhere that isn't here.

You wake up from being on the other side of the world and rush to your English class. Room 1, pretty easy to find when there are only 8 classrooms per floor.

There are already students seated, others taking books from the desk at the front of the room.

The teacher, a blonde woman in a black victorian-gothic dress, is sitting behind her desk in the front corner of the room, sipping tea and looking displeased.

On the blackboard is written "Ms. Victoria Gosic"

You doodle space stuff in your notebook. Planets, stars, that sorta thing. Not the prettiest. Might need to take an art class.

Rana preps for a fist bump while looking at Langely, maybe wanting to do it all together.

Paper covers rock?

Danny and Rana fistbump, while Langely grabs on to their fists meant for her bumping.

Rana: "I think I like this one better."
