Faust cannot take his eyes off Allie as she begins gently running her tongue along her long, lithe arms, hungrily lapping at each precious droplet of blood. It vaguely reminds him of a cat, if it was person-sized, ridiculously dangerous and covered in fresh gore and veritable gallons of blood.

Faust feels his kokoro go dokidoki.

Backsmasher attempts to make sense of the current situation. He's now visible, smelling faintly of smoke, on the back seat of Vargall's car. The entire interior of the vehicle is red with bloodstains, you included. It doesn't seem to be YOUR blood though, so you guess that's a good thing?

Allie seems to be licking herself clean, while Faust ogles at her with a blush on his face.

Vargall himself seems to have just left the vehicle, probably to meet Bright, who's just left his bike and is walking towards you.

Vargall exits the car and returns to the dead drop trashcan, to retrieve the briefcase. However, it seems to have disappeared!

Peering deeper into the metal container, he notices the entire bottom of it is actually a poorly-concealed plasteel trapdoor. Curses!

He sends a picture of a lit match to the Don anyways, should probably do something!

Oh look, someone's calling back. Seems to be the Don!

"A match? A BLOODY MATCH? YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS TRANSGRESSION, YOU CHIPPY HOOSEGOW PALOOKA!"

Also, 15K or nothing, now."

You feel like you just critfailed at diplomacy.

Just as Bright is about to speak up, he notices the transaction being completed, and confirms it via his commlink. That takes care of that!

Faust watches Allie calmly finish licking herself and begin wiping her sword with a rag. He dazedly steps out of the car and sits down on the sidewalk, head in his hands. Thinking of how things just went down.

You are now a bit richer.

A bit stronger too, probably.

And most definitely, you have a LOT more enemies now.

The game has now entered DOWNTIME. During DOWNTIME, you can use Karma and Nuyen to improve your character, try and acquire new weapons, bind spirits, learn martial arts and so on and so forth.

Time during DOWNTIME passes much faster: A whole day or week of work could be represented by one or two rolls, unless it is particularly important that they be told in detail.

All characters are fully healed during DOWNTIME, unless they incur additional injuries during it.

After all players are satisfied with their choices, DOWNTIME ends, and the adventure resumes!
