Well, we’ll deal with that when we get to it.

By the way, Claire! I see you’re not using a wheelchair. Are the rehabilitation exercises going well?”

Claire: "Yup! No longer need the wheelchair or walker, now just using a cane."

She pulls out a short rod hidden among the piles of papers on her table and with a flick of her wrist, extends it to a full-length walking cane.

Using the cane as support, she stands up out of the chair, appearing to move much more smoothly than when she was using her walker.

Bezel: "Wow, that's really great progress."

Claire: "Right. Makes things a bit difficult, but I'm getting used to it. At least I don't feel anything when I stub my toes!"

"Hmmmm. That won't do. We'll figure something out eventually, though!

...That said, you should probably be more careful with your legs. It'd be bad if you got a sprain and didn't notice it."

Claire: "Heheh, don't worry, I try to be careful. Doctor even says I should try to move them every now and then to make sure blood is flowing - don't want any nasty blood clots."

"I doubt you'll get those, walking around like you do. Heh.

Though, it'd still be a good idea to treat them extra nicely from time to time. Bezel, we might end up having to take her to the hot springs, after all~"

Claire: "I dunno how well that would work. Water and, electricity. I'll keep the offer in mind, though!"

After saying goodbye, you and Bezel leave the warehouse and start heading back to the cleanroom facility.

Bezel: "Where do you plan on going after returning from Raena? I'm still working on completing the team for my replacement, gonna be a while."

"I've been trying to figure that out for weeks.
The UEN facility will be walking into a trap filled funhouse, the Ossolen ruins have a reputation for vanishing people, the Raena ruins are a bit in the Lindow, but it's still the Lindow, and all the Daeli manors are probably the scariest of any to enter uninvited.
Of all of them? The Raena ruins are probably my first choice, just cause that's not very deep and it's a relatively known quantity."

Bezel: "I'm not sure if I'm less comfortable with you going to the ruins in the Lindow, or the ruins north of Ossolen. Lindow, you can run into dragons, north of Ossolen, who knows what's up there.

Either way, you should probably use those construct weapons from the Lawless - they'll provide more protection than anything I can drum up on short notice. I can refit the existing suits I made for whoever's left."

Bezel: "Mm. I gotta get back to work, I'll probably talk to the expedition team about equipment later."

[To the expedition team!]
