"It's... Still a bit baffling to me. I can understand kinetics pushing an object around, but straight up teleporting... Well, I guess we've experienced it firsthand, but I'm still in the dark as to how it actually works.

Maybe that's what we're looking for, if we could get it to work at long range."

???: "Do you have any questions?"

The young man that was sleeping is now awake and standing nearby.

???: "Sorry I missed you when you arrived, bit of a slow day."

"Ah, s'alright.
Do you know where they got inspiration for these? Just the giant compression and moving big weights reminds me of witches."

Man: "Henry Tasche thought of the general plan before he made his first working space compression construct and supposedly did some research on witch cores, what little could be done at the time, but I don't think it's known if he explicitly drew inspiration from how they work.

Are you two students from the Academy?"

Core beasts are neat, and witches are the craziest core beasts I know."

Man: "Yes! Have you had a chance to see the visiting one in Puzzle Park? I'd never thought I would meet a peaceful witch in person, and one suddenly visits Castellum, twice!"

He's silent for a moment, staring at the two of you in shock.

Man: "You're, you're the expedition team from Siana?"

Man: "I-"

He takes a few seconds to regain his composure, but simply shifts to trying to hold back an eager smile.

Man: "You wouldn't happen to be willing to offer any, transportation services, would you?"

Man: "Donovan Tasche, student-currently-on-break."

He turns to Bezel -

Bezel: "Bezel. Constructor."

He nods, and turns back to you.

Donovan: "Transportation will just be me, to Novelle, a small town on the west coast of Vellum. I cant leave my post here for more than a few days so travel by carriage or car won't work, but flying should be fine."
