The group decides to retreat for now, and retraces their path back to the forest's edge. A few minutes of walking through the fields, and they come upon Mary, who's bringing her flock back home.
Mary: "My, my, you're back! I'm glad to see you here so soon, and all in one piece. Had any luck on the hunt?"

A few minutes later, the three of you are sitting next to Mary's stove, while she serves you a cup of her usual strong tea. Peggy and Emilia play outside, enjoying the last few rays of sunlight.
Mary: "Well, well. I suppose it was to be expected. The wolves' pelts protect them from the rain, but they still gather wherever shelter is available. A mostly intact building is valuable, no matter your species."
She sips her tea, deep in thought. After a moment, she turns to Klimt and smiles.
Mary: "Speaking of intact, are you quite all right? I can't help but notice a few bite marks, and some rather recent repairs on your torso. I understand you're brave, but heading into the forest wearing only a kilt is rather reckless, don't you think?"

Mary: "Oh, don't trouble yourself over it. I'm not so vain as to judge a man by his clothes. I was merely worried about your safety! That said...
I've noticed you look rather... Male. That's, rather rare in the world we live in. If you don't mind me asking, are you *really* a boy? Is that why you said you'd be unwelcome?"
