EVENTS:

The party goes outside to investigate. An overgrown brick wall separates the garden from the rest of the property, the rusty iron gate almost entirely covered by vines. A section of the barrier seems to have collapsed, out in the distance. Another group of spearmen rides out from it, disappearing once again into the snowy forest.

The large tree's branches rattle rhythmically with the wind. Everyone but Eigla feels an indistinct dread at the sound.

EVENTS:

Rosa and Eigla continue into the garden, while Klimt and the others stay behind, hidden.

As they walk closer to the breach on the wall, the air grows hotter and moister, completely at odds with the winter outside. Vines, plants, oversized flowers and roots cover every surface, leading to the huge tree in the center.

The prodigal daughter returns home.

Several of the spearmen and their mounts are there, sitting or standing amid the foliage, glaring at the two dolls behind their horned masks. Others busy themselves with re-killing and dismantling the zombies they'd captured, draining their blood onto the roots and burying their bodies by the great tree.

The gargantuan cherry tree looms, branches undulating with far too much purpose for a mere plant. Its bark is twisted into what seems like a myriad of human-like figures, limbs and faces slowly taking shape. One of the figures pulls itself free, stumbling onto the ground as a thick wooden shell grows over its face, and leaves envelop its limbs in lieu of clothing. Its deer-like horns vibrate in tune to those of the tree, and it turns to look at you menacingly, vine-based muscles bristling under a thin layer of moisture.

EVENTS:

The tree's branches sway in the wind. The spearmen's antlers vibrate. A large... Thing, like a cross between a wooden horse and a plant-gorilla, looks at you from amid the foliage. Eigla's voice echoes.

The Garden's attention slowly shifts away from the two girls. The newborn warrior sits down, growing a wood-and-bone spear from his palm.
