EVENTS:

To the tune of a lingering, echoing shaaaaaaark baaaaaaabiesssssss, the party starts ascending the cliff. It's a strenuous climb for most, though Rosa finds her long, muscular legs very well-suited to traversing the rough terrain.

After a few minutes, they spot Peggy again, a long ways ahead. She seems to notice them approaching, and redoubles her pace.

EVENTS:

Eigla leaps in front of the group, preparing to chase down the runaway blonde if needs be.

Eigla: "STOP!"

Klimt:"Peggy, wait for me!"

The driver stops in her tracks, then looks back. It's hard to see her face, with the distance, but after a few tense seconds she seems to relax, and sits down, waiting for you to approach.

As the party gets close - First Eigla, Klimt and his harem, then Malia and finally Rosa, she eyes you quizzically.

Peggy: "Something happen? I was trying to get there first to have the truck running by the time you arrived."

Malia notices a slight hint of worry underneath Peggy's seemingly calm demeanour. She's chosen to sit by a break in the rubble, affording her a quick retreat path. Suspicious.

Peggy: "Desi-who? You mean, that girl from the factory? I can't see how that'd be possible.

I'm Peggy, same as always."

Peggy: "Y-yes, but! With you, it's obvious what's happened. That you're being visibly infected, that is. I haven't seen myself grow gills or become a giant, so far!

I am not being coy, or french, or Desirèe! I'm your friend, Peggy! Right?

Klimt, tell her she's being unreasonable. I haven't done anything wrong!"
