"Looks like we have a long walk ahead of us. Everyone got their ponchos?"

"Curie it is.
We'll definitely need to fix your body up, but it may have to wait until we get to cover. Are you... in pain?"

EVENTS:

Kbeb maintains the hug, until he finally feels his waifus relaxing. He, too, feels a bit better after it.

Peggy: "S-sorry, I... I lost control there for a bit. I-I'll try to be stronger next time.

...Thank you, Klimt."

She lightly kisses him on the cheek, then nuzzles against his neck.

+10 Peggy points!

Eigla covers Curie's grotesque body with a spare poncho, while Rosa searches through their Flesh reserves for a pair of eyes. She does find a mismatched set of Rosaling eyes, though installing them is rather hard. The doll's eyesockets are sunken and pus-filled, and it takes a lot of effort to locate the optical nerve and attach it to the new organs.

Curie blinks repeatedly, looking around in mild surprise. She notices Klimt and his waifu pile, and her expression turns... Sour, perhaps?

Curie: "Vision capabilities restored. Registering Users' appearance for database purposes."

"So long as we are together, we will be strong. Remember that I won't fail you."

>Disengage.

"Curie, how is your eyesight? Is it within the expected parameters?"

Curie: "Affirmative. Better than expected, in fact. I was slightly far-sighted before, but that seems to no longer be the case."

"And your weapons, do they work?

Is it good to be mobile again?"

Author:  Areku [ Thu Sep 21, 2017 4:21 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Nechronica

"Negative. I am, by design, detached from the Patterns in my body, and even more so from ones foreign to it.

My weaponry is energy-based, and required a direct connection to the reactor to function. At the moment, they are mildly effective bludgeons, but only if the target is very close.

Also, I am not mobile. Observe."

She wriggles in place for a few seconds, in an almost comical gesture.

"I wonder if we could find some suit with a powerplant to put you in. That would be effective."

Curie: "Possibly. I cannot vouch for my combat prowess, however."

"We should at least keep moving while talking."

"The likelihood of us finding another system that could adequately power your weaponry is low. Let alone a mobile one.
It may be wise to remove, possibly discard entirely, some or all of the lasers. At bare minimum the leg mounted ones, so that you aren't dependent on us to move."
> Yes, keep moving.
"Do you feel pain from your body damage?"

"Do you think our coffins will accept laser scrap for inorganic material? She certainly doesn't need the ones on her legs."

EVENTS:

The group starts moving once again, Eigla and Klimt dividing Curie's considerable weight between themselves, seeing as Rosa's form is rather unsuitable for heavy lifting.

Curie: "Unit is in a large amount of pain, physically. However, Unit is designed to not be let it interfere with its functions.

Unit does not comprehend the word 'coffin', in this context.

WARNING: removing Unit's limb-mounted clamps may result in tendril re-growth. Unit is obligated by its programming to let User know this before any sort of repair surgery is attempted."
