"Hi Eigla~.
Why split me though?"

"Well, the alternative is to sew this opening closed so you don't get accidentally disconnected."

"That would be fine then. Be careful of the tubes, I will still need to be connected by them."
> Help close the drained, uh, sac, around the tubes. Flatten it out to make a surface for small body to sit and lie on.

EVENTS:

Rosa tries flexing her hands. For the most part, her movements seem to be mirrored between her bodies, but she can choose to move only a single one, with some effort. This has the side effect of making her speech quite full of echoes.

Eigla pulls out her sewing kit, and does her best to make Smallrosa's position a bit less precarious. After several minutes of enthusiastic surgery, the girl now has a small fleshy seat on which to rest, so as to not strain her connection. Similarly, the tubes on her back are now neatly folded and covered with a sheet of reddish skin. It would be quite comfortable, if not for the mud dripping all around her.

"Hm. I think I need a shower. This is a lot of mud.

Eigla. Eigla Eigla Eigla. I have a body again. With normal arms and legs. And not huge, and not covered in too many shark bits. This is very good."

"Hmmm. If you're going to stay connected, I wonder if we can set up some sort of wireless link."

EVENTS:

Rosa feels up her small neck. The familiar adjustment knob is still there, while Bigrosa's temple feels conspicuously empty. Hmmmm.

Klimt feels ill. It's just, too much for him. Rosa being transformed into some sort of bizarre mudking hybrid, then somehow giving birth to herself, then-

He loses his footing, feeling stomach acid rising up his esophagus. Emilia is there for him, however, and holds him before he can tumble.

Emilia: "Easy there. It's, disturbing, but she doesn't seem to be in pain. Hold on for a little longer."

Eigla looks around. Molly is still writing furiously, and her helpers seem to have deployed a small sample collection station, filled with needles, petri dishes and test tubes.

"How much do you know about coffins?"

EVENTS:

Molly wiggles excitedly.

Molly: "I can tell! Goodness, they recognised you, it seems! And, despite the further corruption of your outer body, your mind seems unaffected! Please come closer, I absolutely MUST gather some tissue samples."

She looks at Eigla's coffin with some curiosity.

Molly: "Coffins? Hardly a use for them nowadays, considering no one stays dead for long, hehe!

That crate, though... Is it a machine of some sort? Oooh, could I perhaps reverse engineer it?"

"Guess 'coffin' is just a nickname.

It's a machine that can regrow any part we lose. I'd rather you not accidentally screw it up, kind of important.

Got anything like these around here?"

Post subject:  Re: Nechronica

"Tch. Are these really such a rarity?
Coffin is a, nickname. They're biological constructor units, they print us out replacement parts. Klimt, Malia, Eigla, and I all have one. Klimt acquired his later on, but the rest of us woke from our pods already equipped with them.
They, only seem to work immediately after a battle, but then they can produce two perfectly usable fully formed parts of our own pattern. Even complex ones.
Mine was destroyed once, and I had to acquire a replacement in the abandoned base where we found Curie."
