EVENTS:

Molly pauses, seemingly awestruck.

Molly: "Are they, Flesh-based? Or, or purely mechanical? I had never heard of such technology, not even among the necromantic artifacts we trade for with the Master. You must certainly let me take a look at yours, later!

And- Quick, before the patterns mix! Just a few bits of Flesh, for my research!"

She extends another thin appendage, holding a small scalpel and a test tube.

"A good chance you are several months too late, but."
> Extend wrists.
"Also do know that this will guarantee the meatblob coming for you and your research, assuming we don't stop it.

The coffins are mechanical from what I have seen. I had to try to repair mine once, after it was badly damaged. It did not have anything I would call organic, aside from a few vials of chemicals.
I repaired it with some mud king flesh, but, that ended up going... poorly. Performance was subpar, and the parts it produced were malformed and had mud king pattern.
...Where IS my coffin?"

"Okay, like, half of our party has one, and we randomly found two. They can't be that rare.

Do you know where the medical machines from Desuri's factory were sourced from?"

EVENTS:

Molly quickly and neatly extracts a series of samples from Rosa's body, both from the human part and the mud-covered hulk. After a while, she has several test tubes of blood and Flesh.

Rosa attempts to locate her Coffin. Flexing a bit, she manages to pop the metal crate from between Bigrosa's ribs, jutting out like a transformer on a pole. It looks... So small, in comparison to the creature it's embedded in.

Upon hearing about Desuri's medical machines, Molly immediately perks up.

Molly: "Oh, the autodocs! One of my greatest achievements, yes! Well, I might have drawn some inspiration from the Doll nurseries the Master's steward spoke abour, but still!
You see, I spent a long time distilling a special pattern, a collection of medical knowledge from Dolls with such skills. A little while longer to make it understand commands and communicate with a standard brainmass, then an interface module so it could communicate and operate mechanical arms... Oh, just thinking about it makes me blush. Such progress! Such ingenuity! Oh!~

However! It still depends on the organs one can provide it, and can't directly change their Patterns. Something like you've mentioned, that could convert raw materials into Flesh specifically tailored for a user... That's unheard of. Even more so if it does not use Flesh-based processing. Microchips, I'm afraid, are a lost art nowadays."

"Microchips, huh."

"It was using circuitry when I looked inside it. Microchips seems likely.
I am fine with letting you examine the coffin, but considering they are essentially irreplaceable, disassembly is likely out of the question.

How much did you see, or hear, while I was in the mud?"

EVENTS:

Eigla looks back towards the Rig, where they left Curie. If anyone still knows how to fabricate old technology, it ought to be her.

Molly: "Good question! My instruments detected substantial amounts of infrasound, though I'm afraid audio analysis is not my specialty. There was very little to be seen on the surface, but that in itself is also significant.
Why, I had expected a whirlwind of tentacles followed swiftly by a spreading bloodstain, haha!

And of course, I will be most careful! Oh goodness, my interest is SO picked! You're the best assistant I ever had!~"

"One of our companions, Curie, may know about circuitry."

"Hm. Infrasound. That is... very low frequency? Yes, that sounds accurate.
The buzz we were talking in did feel, low. Our conversation was quite civil though, if... unsettling? Yes, unsettling."

EVENTS:

Molly's excited wriggling intensifies.

Molly: "Oh goodness! You really are full of surprises, haha! Quick, we must make our way back to the Rig! I can't wait to analyze these samples and examine the changes to her biology and dissect- AHEM. I mean, interview! Your friend. Yay!~"

"Who do you mean 'your friend'?"

Hmm? No no, much too lewd. We are in public.
Yes. Much better.
