I was thinking of uninstalling then reinstalling Cortex Command. I also wanted to save the maps I made in Editor mode. Can anyone let me know where they would be?

If you had half the brain functions of a woodlouse and copied them to another folder, then they would be there.
If not, youre out of luck.

Most of the time, I believe the are saved into your base.rte in maps.

There aren't any folders called Maps in Base.rte

There are only Actors, Devices, Effects, Fonts, GUI's, Music, Scenes, Sounds, Title

I went through all of them and none of them seem to have the saved maps.

Have you tryed doing a search for a map name in base.rte?

It isn't there at all. Searching for it also turns out nothing...
I think I will just have to redo all the hard work I guess...

If this is B20, then it'll be a .ini file in your scenes folder.

If this is B21, I'm not certain, but it's probabaly in the NewData folder.

In B21 scenes are saved to the .rte they were loaded from, inside a Scenes folder. So if a scene is in Base.rte it will be in Base.rte/Scenes, if it's in mod.rte it will be saved to mod.rte/Scenes. Dunno if B20 does the same.

I am wasting a day in the scene editor on one single map alone, and it's the most important thing that needs to be used in order to make a decent map.
Just meaning to say that you shouldn't judge someone if you haven't even seen his work.

Yea, the Data Realms folder was really weird on my computer.
Stuff was missing I think and random stuff like that.
Vista sucks.
