The FBM CB 4200 - Now deployable in the field!
Image Computer Brain 4200™ Instruction Manual Image

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing the FBM CB 4200™. You are now part of a new generation of commanders! The FBM 4200 will take your place in any battle situation with added features available only through our special network of satellites orbiting your planet*!
Your CB 4200™ comes preloaded with a copy of the Fairly Notable Brain Operating System and Server™ (FN-BOSS) software. Before starting up your computer, please take a look over this manual so you can quickly become accustomed to your new system.

OVERVIEW
Your CB 4200™ allows you to use click-and drag cursor functionality in a physical space. The ease of control allows you to swiftly and elegantly defend your brain bunker with a unique cursor system.

CONTROLS
Your CB 4200™ accepts two forms of input: mouse and keyboard. Please note that some keyboard setups may not be compatible with this control scheme, so be sure to check ahead of time!

KEYBOARD:
WASD - move cursor.
H - use selected cursor.
R and F - cycle through cursor types up and down respectively.
L - decrease speed of cursor movement until released (also called accurate mode).
O - increase speed of cursor movement until released (also called speed mode).

MOUSE:
In order to use mouse control, you must set Player 4's control scheme to Mouse + Keyboard!
Mouse movement translates to cursor movement.
Left-click - use selected cursor.
Scroll wheel - cycle through cursor types.

HOTKEYS
All tools have a corresponding letter to use as a hotkey to quickly switch to it. Simply hold down C and press this letter to switch. For example, to switch to the Physics Dragger tool, hold down C and D at the same time.

TOOLS
Your CB 4200™ comes with a total of 11 tools.

Image Selector (Hotkey S)
Click and drag to move any object. While an object or unit is held, it will temporarily cease to exist in the physical plane, so bullets will pass through it and it will become invisible to most artificial intelligence. Any velocity or angular velocity will be lost. As well, the object cannot be dragged into the ground. If you attempt to do so, it will simply stick at its last terrain-free position until you have moved your cursor to another free spot. Release the button to let the object rejoin the physical plane.
Demonstration:

Image Physics Dragger (Hotkey D)
Click and drag to move any object, applying velocity to it. The held object will still be part of the physical plane and will collide with other objects and terrain. The object can be dragged into the ground. Objects held will also maintain any previous angular velocity. If an object is released while the cursor is moving, it will continue to travel at the same speed. WARNING: This tool will unpin any object that was previously pinned, such as your brain! If you release the cursor, it will fall down and damage may occur!
Demonstration:

Image Lasso (Hotkey L)
Click on any object to create a simulated rope, binding it to your cursor. Release the mouse button to remove the rope. WARNING: This tool will unpin any object that was previously pinned, such as your brain! If you release the cursor, it will fall down and damage may occur!

Image Finger of Death (Hotkey F)
Click any unit and it will immediately die**.

Image Bomber (Hotkey B)
Click anywhere and an explosion will occur at that position.

Image Exploder (Hotkey X)
Click on any object to cause it and anything attached to it immediately burst.

Image Burster (Hotkey O)
Click on any object and it will gradually swell to 1.5 times its size before bursting.
Demonstration:

Image Delete (Hotkey L)
Click on any object and it will cease to exist.
Demonstration:

Image Freezer (Hotkey Z)
Click on any object and it will immediately become a statue made of terrain***.
Demonstration:

Image Invincibility (Hotkey I)
Click on any unit and they will begin to glow white with the power of invincibility****!
Demonstration:
Image

Image Pencil (Hotkey P)
Click and drag to draw lines of terrain. WARNING: This terrain is not fully stable matter and has a tendency to rapidly melt if disturbed from below.
Demonstration:
Image

Image Eraser (Hotkey A)
Click and drag to erase terrain. WARNING: The de-materialization ray projected by the satellite takes many calculations and much time to run its course. Erasing large amounts of terrain may cause noticeable slowdown of your CB 4200™ system, and may cause terrain to disappear only gradually or in lines. Do not be alarmed by any of these side-effects as they are only temporary!

Image NEW! Turret (Hotkey T)
This tool allows you to turn any spare weapon into a floating sentry turret. Simply click and drag any weapon into the desired spot and it will begin to aim for and fire at any enemies! Click a turret again to turn it back into a normal weapon.
Demonstration:

Image NEW! Reticle (Hotkey R)
For use with the Turret tool. Move this cursor within range of any turret created with the Turret tool and you will assume manual control of it. Click to fire.

PCB 4200™
A new model of the CB 4200™, the PCB 4200 (Portable Computer Brain) allows you to easily deploy your system at any time! Simply order it from your provider's Tools section, drop it where you wish to build it and it will automatically assemble itself!

Before you report a bug, MAKE SURE you have the latest version.

Midna and Grif for suggestions about coding the eraser and pencil tool.
Various freesound.org contributors for the startup sounds.
Valve for (unwittingly) allowing me to shamelessly steal the building sounds from TF2.
Kalidor for finding a fix to the godforsaken memory leak that has been plaguing us all.

*Some planets may not have an orbiting satellite array necessary for proper functioning of your CB 4200™. If you have any problems, please call our customer support building, conveniently located at the furthest reaches of the known universe.
**Some units, whether due to advanced alien technology, dark or light magicks, or even the will of god(s), may not be susceptible do this tool. Please refrain from pulling your hair out or smashing your head against your CB 4200™ keyboard if this occurs.
***Object must be touching the ground before it becomes a statue.
****Units with this power are not fully invincible and may still be killed by a number of factors including but not limited to: crushing, falling off edge of space, extreme fall damage, sheer number of bullets pumped into body and other CB 4200™ tools.
*****Shipping prices may apply depending on your provider.

Looks amazing! YGMDL. Will update this post after I have used it...
Edit: Lagged pretty bad and crashed CC after about a minute. I think this is mostly due to me playing Cortex Command on my laptop though. The sprites were very well made. I thought the windows logo was a nice touch! Overall, when it worked it was great. I just wish it had worked longer.

If TLB makes a mod, it is automatically good. This is no exception.

I just finger of death'd the Brain. I expected a crash, but instead the brain just blue screened, and I got a fail. Well done TLB. Very, very, VERY well done. Now you just need to put Punch card based alchemy in here.

Here is something that is fun, making an enemy invincible, then make the new godly being your wrecking ball.
Don't try to drag anything through a closed ADoor, they'll just liquify.
