 Team Fortress 2 (Modding Theme Entry: Anything!)
Still works for B27

As the title suggests, this is a Team Fortress 2 mod. It includes every class from TF2 along with a ton of weapons, bunker modules and a simple scene.

Meet the Team



Meet the scout, a very fast moving, offensive class, with a variety of shotguns to play with. You'll be able to dodge bullets with ease.



Meet the soldier, a crazed, american, offensive character, with a dangerous rocket launcher at his disposal. Try and rocket jump and your legs will be blown off.



Meet the pyro, a silent, offensive woman, with homemade flamethowers. Make sure to get in close for massive damage.



Meet the demoman, a black, scottish, defensive guy, with a ton of explosives. Don't try and sticky jump either.



Meet the heavy, a massive, russian, defensive hulk, with sasha. You won't find anyone who can outsmart his bullets.



Meet the engineer, a soft, defensive texan, with a sentry gun. Make sure to place the sentry box in a good location.



Meet the medic, a scary, support german, with some strange tools. Be sure to overheal teammates.



Meet the sniper, a professional, support man, with a long range rifle. Find a good place to snipe from to be efficient.



Meet the spy, a sneaky, support frenchman, with powerful revolvers. Aim for headshots.

Credits:
Kettenkrad for most of the sprites and being the base of all of my sprites,
CaveCricket48 for the grenade launcher and sentry spawn script,
Gotcha! for stimpak script,
Mehman because an early version of his "Mobility" mod was used.

Concept is good, but I'm getting 'Invalids' where the pictures should be.

I'm getting an error to do with a graphic within the Blu.rte: might just be me, my Cortex Command has been a bit off recently!

Very good.
Things should be changed however:

Weapon sounds are completely off; use the TF2 weapon sounds
Offsets are nigh-on nonexistent and are just copied vanilla offsets from what I can see
Magazines don't eject from the guns when emptied
The medigun can dig and causes lots of painful noises
The actors are really weak
Descriptions are mostly edited vanilla descriptions

Good work, good premise, just needs some tweaking to make it feel a lot better.

Your pictures doesn't work, so I decided to check some sprites manually
and after seing the difference between some torsos and kettengrad's head:

GOD IS DEAD is my only reaction, don't piss in my eyes meanwhile you tell me its raining.

Could you post a picture of this error or give me more detail? Because I can't help you with the information you have given me.

The sounds didn't even occur to me! Thanks for pointing that out.
Sorry about the offsets, you are right, they are merely vanilla offsets. I'll tweak them.
The magazines are built into the main sprite, that's why they don't eject. I'll fix that too.
Again, I didn't realise the pain sounds! I'll try to alter that too.
Could you please, explain in more detail what you mean by "weak". Do they take too much damage? Or something else?
I knew I would forget about the descriptions, so I just altered vanilla ones so they made sense, until I could make proper ones. But I forgot...

I'm sorry about all this. So many things I forgot to do. :oops:

After a few hours of testing, I have come up with a list of bugs/suggestions:

SCOUT
-scatter guns should be automatic
-soda popper should fire more quickly

SNIPER
-sniper rifle bullets are black/red
-sniper hold the sniper rifle by the scope?
-jarate explosion should have more "yellow", if you know what i mean...
-Head shots do not kill instantly

DEMOMAN
-add glows to the grenades/sticky bombs
-when the "detonate bombs" option is used on the pie menu, a beeping sound could be added along with a ~1/2 second delay before the explosion
-grenades can sometimes "bounce" off of doors and fly in the opposite direction

HEAVY
-heavy is kind of "too" heavy, and can crush the ground, getting him often stuck.
-Mini-gun does not have a charge/uncharge sound
-the brass beast sprite could be improved
-minigun bullets can bounce off walls/doors

SOLDIER
-sprite for helmet could be improved

PYRO
-Head sprite could be improved
-more weapon variety

MEDIC
-medigun sprite & sound could be improved
-Syringe container on the syringe gun for blu team has red edges on it

ENGINEER
-shotgun is "floating" above engineer's hands
-better sentry (im pretty sure the was a sentry gun mod that was created a while ago)

SPY
-body sprite could be improved (he looks like he is wearing a jumpsuit)

OVERALL
-like Miggles said, the actors take too much damage (a rocket launcher can kill a heavy in 1 shot)

By weak I mean that they're, well, weak. They don't take as many shots as they should.
In TF2 a scout can take 2 close range blasts with a scattergun before dying. Most times in the mod they die the first shot.

Also, the sniper's head sprite looks really odd. The sunglasses look like goggles.
Also some of the body sprites could be improved, especially the soldier, scout, and pyro.

Thanks for the feedback.
The reason I didn't add some of the weapons was either because it was not possible/very hard to add their qualities to the game.
As for the other things, I am in the progress of fixing/tweaking/changing things and will take your feedback into account.
One more thing, I found quite hard to find the line between "like TF2 but not like Cortex Command" and "like Cortex Command but not like TF2" if you get what I mean.

Yeah, the snipers head is a bit weird, I agree. I'll try my best to make the actors stronger too.
