Should I spend 20 to 30 bucks buying an old cowboy hat and vest, messing around with it to give it a more weather beaten look, or spend hundreds of dollars buying fitted replicas of the clothing Clint wore in "The good, the bad, and the ugly", that could probably be used as quality clothes/a great costume?

Halloween? Oh, you mean place a hollow pumpkin with a carved face in front of the door? Yeah, i'll be doing that.

:U

People don't do much halloween here in Denmark, really. Only halloween-themed parties are going to have any kind of costumes.

What do you want?
If you're willing to shell out hundreds of dollars to get a better hat, OK.
I'd personally go the cheap route though.

Probably gonna throw eggs or ping-pong "smoke bombs" on the streets.

Other than that, nothing interesting.

Have you no imagination? why would you waste a perfectly good opportunity to get out of yourself and be someone else, with a group of people who aren't who they are either. it's the most fun you can have without *insert double entendre here*

It's not the lack of imagination, it's just that it's not as entertaining as it was a couple of years ago.

I'll just eat candy.

Almost everyone I know IRL that celebrates Halloween is going as "Dave from Homestuck". What is it with people these days? I'd like to see someone come up with an original costume, or at least a character that isn't so mainstream.

I'm gonna be a stalker. It's kind of a cop-out, since I already own a camo jacket and gasmask.

I read these as lyrics to a song. This is a terrible song.

I was kind of thinking of going as Adam Jensen, but that means I need to find a cheap double-breasted trench coat, which seems... unlikely. I guess I should probably find a backup plan.
