talking about Christmas, it's crazy that they're making wishlists and all that jazz, in October. It reminds of of Buddy from the movie Elf.
My walmart had a section of Christmas stuff is September. Crazy.

On topic, I wonder what the police would think of me firing blanks at passers by.
I would hope and imagine you'd be behind bars for some amount of time.
I know you said you won't and wouldn't but here's some extra reasons to definitely not
-Risk of mixing up rounds, reckless endangerment.
-Tiny objects in barrel could get propelled toward victim.
-Gunfire is loud. Blanks can make it louder. Guns are loudest when fired pointed toward you. Depending on the gun/blank/distance, this could cause significant irreversible hearing damage to the victim of your assault.
-Taking the scaring thing way way too far, enough to break some sort of law, I'm sure. Inciting riots as was said, or something like that.
-Lots of cities/towns/etc have laws against firing guns outside of necessity within city limits.

But anyways, I'm not doing much interesting for Halloween. Eat some candy, play some KF or something.

Edit: Well, it's technically Halloween, and the stupidity of this thing I just put together is spooooky, so I'll share.

I got a pumpkin, it's late for halloween now, but I'll still carve it later, from a couple meter away.

The 31st has passed, and there's no explosion of posts? You guys seem to have fun not doing anything on any holiday.
Anyway, here's my fistful of candy.

Not shown: The multiple gallons of eggnog I drank that is roughly equal to a jet fuel tank.
Also, cool guns Azukki. And the firearms aren't bad either.

It's a Saiga 308 converted to AK-47 style layout, AK-47 picatinny rail adapter, barska 30mm red dot, picatinny/dovetail clamps, and a old-style Marlin 60, all cobbled together.
Once I noticed the dovetail/picatinny clamps would allow this, it just had to happen. I couldn't not try it.
No permanent modifications for this silliness, of course, and it's already disassembled.
Detaching the Saiga and leaving everything else as is, though, actually brings the optic over to where you can shoot the Marlin right handed, but look through the optic with your left eye. I might play with that a bit, since I'm very right-handed and left-eyed. I really should just get used to shooting lefty instead, though, but the marlin does eject gases into my eyes that way. I really should have eye protection on anyways, though, so that excuse isn't so good.
Edit: apparently someone actually thought a 22lr semi auto attachment for another rifle was a good enough idea to bring to market for 'battlefield operators'... at least I wasn't that dumb.

More Halloween-relevant, my pumpkin carving will have to wait until tomorrow, since it's getting dark, and I couldn't earlier because someone was asleep, and gunfire makes a really bad lullaby. Even .22lr.

Thank you for bumping a topic that didn't have any posts for a month and was no longer relevant, just to tell us that you don't like Halloween.

Can't you just lock this thread until next Halloween? It would make more sense.

Also, I ate all your Halloween candy.
That's the best thing of it, parents making pranks to their kiddies.

There isn't a clear definition, but when the topic isn't relevant anymore and the last post is a few months old, it can be considered either an unnecessary bump or even a necro.
