Post Useful/Interesting/Useless facts
So, uh, I've read about some stuff and I though about saving it somewhere, but then I had the idea to make this thread and know more and more stuff.
Here is an example of an useless fact:
A pig can have an orgasm of 30 minutes.

An useful fact:
The reason why most people get colds during cold weather is simply because they stay home.

An interesting fact:
In your lifetime, you devour 8 spiders while sleeping.

And holy ♥♥♥♥, I lost all my appetite when I saw this interesting fact for the first time.
So yeah, give us all you know about that kind of stuff.

Useful fact:
Snopes.com is a really good resource for checking if you're spewing out nonsense before making a topic about facts

Yeah. You are right, I don't even know if these are true so I'd shut myself up, but I can't do that because my brain doesn't allow me to cut my own tongue with a butter knife because I know I'll feel a lot of pain.
Anyone knows good sources and ♥♥♥♥?

Wikipedia, their sources, just make sure that no mid terms, or tests are nearby in the post/secondary education circles.

Chao's goblins reproduce via spores.
The grand-mothers get a shiny badge, and are otherwise the same.
And I wonder what happened to the session with the fell goblins, seriously what happened with that.
And the same for the elemental session, ♥♥♥♥'s like crack, I need more.

I thought they reproduced using a mother goblin who basically sexed and babied all day every day.

They all shoot spores, it's just the mother shoots babies instead.

They constantly sweat spores which are absorbed by any other goblin that happens to pass by and stored
All goblins are born male and become female if they eat too much, as this indicates a glut of food in the environment and thus that the fortress can support more children
This allows them to make use of all the genetic material they collected when they were wandering around, because female goblins are totally immobile

This page is useful for some random facts.

In fact soldiers equipped with plate armor were more mobile than those with chainmail armor, as chainmail was heavier and required stiff padding beneath due to its pliable nature.

In Magic: The Gathering, it is possible to win the game before you or your opponent have taken a single turn.

Edit: I would also like to share some random things you can do in MS paint.

For example, you can select up to three colors simultaneously by selecting a color with the ctrl key held down.

You can hold down the right mouse button while the eraser is selected to replace only the color assigned to the left mouse button with the color assigned to the right mouse button.

You can hold shift while you have selected an area with one of the selection tools and drag it to create a sort of snake effect. You can use ctrl instead to only create a single copy of the selection.

If you click in just the right place, it is possible to select a zoom level of 10x.

You can also use this method to select a brush size of less than 1px. You cannot draw with this brush, though.
